The c l a i m s a r e a t
an e l e v a t i o n of 3900 f e e t t o 4900 f e e t ,
The claims c o n s i s t o f 4 two-post u n i t s and a r e
awned by Mrs, Nina T e r e k o f f o f Thrums, B. C.
Access t o t h e r o a d i s by a four-wheel-drive
road
commencing a t Rover Creek and t r a v e l l i n g u p t h e
e a s t s i d e of Connor Creek.
The Root claims w e r e p r o s p e c t e d w i t h an Exploranium
magnetometer p r i o r t o g r i d work.
Readings were
t a k e n e a s t , west, n o r t h and s o u t h of the i n i t i a l
post which i s common t o a l l units.
Old workings
were examined and b e s t r e a d i n g s were i n t h 3 s
g e n e r a l area.
T E C H N I C A L DATA AND INTERPRETATION
G r i d work w a s done around t h e i n i t i a l p o s t where
h i g h r e a d i n g s i n d i c a t e d a v a r i a b l e magnetic f i e l d .

diggings and t h e g r i d i s r e l a t i v e t o t h e I n i t i a l

The g r i d l i n e s were done b y f l a g g i n g and measuring
b y a 40 m e t e r rope.
Tape markers were e s t a b l i s h e d
on a 10 metre g r i d and r e a d i n g s r e c o r d e d approximately e v e r y 2 m e t r e s by s t e p p i n g off t h e d i s tance.
This gave a c o n t o u r map w h i c h was more
accurate.
A t o t a l of j u s t under 3OOQ r e a d i n g s
were t a k e n and f o u r maps have been contoured.
