WRESTLING (Greco-Roman, Freestyle and Freestyle for women)
19.05. - 20.05.2017.
1.TIME AND PLACE
1.1. 19th – 20th of May, 2017
1.2. Latvian Academy of Sport education, Brīvības street no 333, Riga, Latvia.
2. REGULATIONS
2.1. Competition is individual. Competition will take place in greco-roman
wrestling and freestyle wrestling for men and freestyle wrestling for women.
2.2. Competition will take place in accordance with the existing United World
Wrestling rules.
2.3. In each weight category can participate not more than 2 participants from
university.
2.4. Athletes can participate without United World Wrestling licenses.
2.5. Each team can bring the referee, advisable dressed in United World Wrestling
uniform.
2.6. Weight categories:
 greco-roman wrestling 59, 66, 75, 85, 98,130 kg;
 freestyle wrestling 57, 65, 74, 86, 97, 125 kg;
 freestyle wrestling for women 48, 53, 58, 63, 69, 75 kg.
2.7. If there are less than 3 participants in weight category or all participants are from
the same country, bouts will not be held in this weight category.
3. PROGRAM
3.1. 19th of May (Friday)
17:00 – 18:00 – weigh–in
3.2. 20th of May (Saturday)
10:00 – 19:00 competition
4. INSURANCE
4.1. The participants must have the appropriate insurance to cover travel and
participation, as they are not the responsibility of the OC. The OC will insure the
first aid at the competition venues for all accredited persons.
