To gain an understanding of where Nazi ideas came from
and how they were used to target and persecute the Jews
and others.
Life inside the ghettos
To gain an understanding of and learn about life and
conditions in the Jewish Ghettos.
Slave labour
To learn about the development of work camps and how
the Nazis used the slave labour of ‘untermenschen’ to
support the fighting of the Second World War.
The Wannsee Conference
To learn about the reasons for the meeting and the creation
of ‘The Final Solution’ and its consequences for millions of
humans.
The ‘Final Solution’ and
Auschwitz.
To learn how the Nazis murdered 2/3 of European Jewry.
The Nuremburg Trials
To gain an understanding of the Allies’ reaction to
discovering what the Nazi’s had done and how the Nazis
were treated after the end of World War Two.
Assessment: You will be asked 3 short answer questions and one essay style exam
question
Homework: You will have 3 homework sheets to complete. You will be asked to
define 5 key words and answer 3 short answer questions.
The extension task will be an essay style exam question.
