Scaling model: social franchise
To scale Regionalwert AG’s model in Spain we use a social franchise system. The major difficulty is the
search of a local reliable partner with experience in local organic food, financial innovation systems and
network.
To scale further, EcoRegio is also prototyping a social platform to develop the crowdfunding model.
Barriers to scaling
•! Poor social investment culture especially among impact investors.
•! Among local potential partners, lack of team work skills and very hierarchical organisational
structures which do not nurture innovation.

European and local governments should promote and give incentives for Green Jobs as a key for
economic recovery and sustainability. What can local goverment or agents do to promote Green
Jobs?

Local and regional public administration bodies should develop mechanisms and tools to support
the emergence of a more associative economy based on collaboration and teamwork in toder to
construct the entire value chain,
