Bookings for the Rocky Hock Playhouse Easter musical At the
Foot of the Cross are coming in steadily. Gloria is tweaking
the script (as I write) and it is going to be stunning. Thanks, as
always, for your support! We’re here for YOU.
Incidentally, Gloria also wrote a brand new history show
entitled The Presidents of Mount Rushmore (History Set in
Stone) that plays at College of The Albemarle in Elizabeth City
at 10am on February 12 and 13. The cast is made up of our 10
best actors. The four presidents (Washington, Jefferson,
Lincoln, and T. Roosevelt) come down “off the mountain” when
discovered by four hikers who stumble upon them from the
back side of the mountain. It is a truly wonderful script and
story. Gloria did a tremendous amount of work on the show and
it is spiced with humor and historical fact. It’s very, very clever
and we hope you’ll be able to see it. Call: (800) 335-9050 for

Also, Gloria and I are producing and directing West Side Story
at the college with the COAST Players. The show opens on
February 26 and runs through March 8. There are ten
performances to choose from. The cast of over 30 (plus 13 in
the orchestra) are stunning. We blocked and rehearsed the
final scene last night…and I still get choked up thinking about it.
It’s going to be a wonderful, wonderful show and we hope you’ll
make the effort to come see it!!
Holly is coming home this summer from Africa for a few weeks
before heading back for another two year commitment. We
have two concerts planned for her benefit. She’ll be singing
with the ROCKY HOCK SINGERS and sharing. It’s only $10 for
the concert and buffet…you can’t beat it. Book soon. I’m sure
both concerts will sell out.
The brochures have gone out…you should be getting yours
soon. It’s not too late to purchase season subscriptions for the
Playhouse shows!!
