SECONDED NATIONAL EXPERT - JOB PROFILE Operational Resources Officer in the Pooled Resources Unit within Capacity Building Division Purpose of the post: The post of the Seconded National Expert (SNE) in Pooled Resources Unit is created to strengthen the deployability of the Rapid Pool, Frontex Joint Support Team (FJST) Pool and technical equipment pool. Tasks and Responsibilities: The Operational Resources Officer in Pooled Resources Unit will be responsible for carrying out activities related to the management of pooled resources within specific projects and programmes. The person occupying the post will: • Prepare availability arrangements, including quality standards and membership policies; • Support the training arrangements for the Rapid Pool or FJST Pool; • Support the liaison with national contact points for the Rapid/FJST Pool; • Prepare and implement other activities conducted by Frontex in view of the preparedness of the border guards of the Rapid Pool or FJST Pool; • Organise and moderate meetings, workshops, seminars; • Prepare reports, project templates and evaluations; • Provide the Head of Unit, project managers and other team members with practical advice and expertise. Qualifications and Experience Required: (1) Professional The candidate will be required to demonstrate that he/she has: • • • • Sound knowledge and proven professional experience in the areas mentioned in the job duties; Work experience in managing national resource pools; Excellent command of English (at least C1); Excellent analytical skills.
