the Great, justify whether or not you think he deserves the title
“the Great”.
2. Powerpoint on Persia.
3. Notes (SPEC) on Greece. (readings under resources online)
4. Vocabulary: oligarchy, democracy, monarchy, republic, aristocracy,
autocracy, representative democracy, empire
Follow Up/HW: Finish SPEC chart on Rome and India. Ask your parent
what this quote from Socrates means: “The unexamined life is not worth
living.”
