Frequently asked questions
Ragdale Hall’s Treatment Team continue to
bring you the most innovative and up to
date menu of treatments anywhere. We also
strive to work with the best practitioners
and skincare companies in the industry.
Q. What should I wear for treatments?
A. For most treatments it will be appropriate for you to wear your underwear under
a robe. For very messy treatments we provide paper disposable underwear.
For some specialised holistic therapies like Thai Massage and Shiatsu, loose,
comfortable clothing is most appropriate.
No jewellery should be worn when attending treatments.
Q. I like very firm massages, how do I ensure I receive them?
Within this booklet you will find your inclusive
treatments explained, followed by a full selection of
treatments and activities to enhance the enjoyment
of your stay. These are divided into sections for easy
reference and sub divided by results and effects.

A. The most assured way of receiving firm massage is to book a Sports and Remedial
Massage Therapy, Stone Therapy, Lava Shells Massage, Balinese Massage, ELEMIS
Deep Tissue Massage or Decleor Deep Muscle Energiser Massage.
Our style of massage for inclusive treatments is based on Swedish style relaxation.
If you are used to manipulation or no hands sports techniques,it may feel
disappointingly light.
Q. Can I upgrade my inclusive treatments to specialised treatments and/or
exchange my inclusive treatments for something else?
A. There may be some upgrades that can be applied to your inclusive treatments at
an additional cost. We can exchange some inclusive treatments, if they clash with
other specialised treatments that you may have already booked or if it is due to
a medical reason.

Q. I want to do certain fitness classes, how do I make sure my treatments
do not clash with them?
A. Telephone or email your fitness requests to our Treatments Administration
Department at least 14 days prior to arrival. A suitable programme
accommodating both fitness and treatments will then be arranged for you.

Q. Can I see my treatment schedule before I arrive?
We recommend any treatments are
booked at least 14 days in advance.
Please note services and treatments are subject to change or withdrawal
without prior notice. Any treatments cancelled within 12 hours of the
appointed time will incur a 50% charge.
If you have any medical conditions or health issues please refer to the Treatments
and Activity Price List when choosing your treatments which follow the order of this
booklet. Here you will find clear reference to some of the main contra-indications.
The guidelines are not an exhaustive list and serve to highlight some of the main
medical indicators where treatments may not be advisable. If you have any health
concerns regarding your suitability for treatments or activities please consult your
GP prior to your visit.

Q. Can I request what time I have my treatments?
A. Treatments are offered between 9.00am – 7.30pm daily. Your treatments will be
booked between these times in advance of your arrival. Please contact us if you
have any specific requirements.

Pure Radiance Facial

A full facial that promotes relaxation and
skin benefit. Although this treatment is not
as in-depth or powerful as the exclusive
range, it offers a quality facial experience,
cleansing, exfoliating, massaging and
applying a prescriptive mask. Whilst the
mask takes effect, a relaxing hand and
arm massage is conducted.
Wake Up Eye Treatment

A customised treatment suitable for all,
designed to combat the signs of ageing
and reduce fatigue around the eyes.
This treatment includes a cleanse to the
face and neck, a specialist eye contour
massage, gentle facial massage, application
of eye mask and a relaxing scalp massage.
To complete the treatment an application
of eye cream and a daily moisturiser leave

aspects that warrant discussions with you, we
