INTERNSHIP FORMULATION TECHNOLOGIST – 6 TO 12 MONTHS –STARTING IN NOVEMBER 2013 Function: Formulation – Product development Employment type: Full time internship (40 hours/week) Salary: €575/month, plus travel costs within the Netherlands Location: Weesp (15 min from Amsterdam) – The Netherlands Required Education: Pharmacy or Chemical Engineering (specialization in cosmetics or pharmaceutical technology) What do we do? At FeyeCon Carbon Dioxide Technologies, we make use of an innovative green platform technology based on supercritical CO2. This technology is a sustainable alternative for producing and processing of a wide range of products, including cosmetics, food, pharmaceuticals and textiles. One of our success stories is our joint venture DyeCoo on CO2 textile dyeing. Both Nike and Adidas are working with us to implement this technology ‐ and now we want to make a difference in the cosmetics market! Internship description The internship will be in formulation development, which may include extraction of natural ingredients, protection of ingredients via encapsulation and the development of products using these ingredients for the cosmetics industry. Your work will involve product testing on a lab‐scale, analyzing product properties, and reporting on the obtained results. Your profile is as follows:  You are enrolled in last year in Pharmacy or Chemical Engineering (undergraduate or postgraduate studies).  You have practical skills in cosmetic formulation and product development.  You are independent, creative, dynamic and goal oriented, with an interest in commercial R&D.  You have good English (oral and written) communication skills.
