MAGIC MOMENT
Congratulations to the following BAY ballet pupils, who achieved magnificent
results at the recent Ballet Eisteddfod: Kyara Russell, Isabella Marais, Olivia
Goosen, Juliana Coetzer and Sofia Bassios.
- Isabella Marais danced 2 solos and received a DIPLOMA for both (85 –
100%).
- Isabella Marais and Sofia Bassios danced in a duet and received a DIPLOMA
(85 – 100%).

- Olivia Goosen danced 2 solos and received 2 DIPLOMAS (85 – 100%).

- Sofia Bassios danced a solo and received a DIPLOMA (85 – 100%).

- Kyara Russell danced in a group and received a DIPLOMA (85 – 100%) and
danced in the finals.
- Juliana Coetzer danced in a group and received an HONOURS (70 – 84%).
Well done to our dancers. We are very proud of you!

We are proud to announce that Mrs Natalie Salter-Buffart has been appointed
from 1 July as the school’s Debtor’s Clerk and Fundraising Manager. Welcome

FAREWELL TO MS RITA ELSWORTH
Today, 15 June, is Rita Elsworth’s last day at Bay Primary School. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank her
for everything she has done for our Bay family in the short time that she was with us and to wish her everything
of the very best in her new position as Bursar at Kommetjie Primary School.
PUBLIC HOLIDAY
Friday, 16 June is YOUTH DAY. School will revert to normal closing times from Monday, 19 June.

SPORT
Bay sport and extra-murals end on Friday, 23 June.
NUMBERTHON WINNERS
The majority of our children are super keen mathematicians and
fundraisers. Thank you to all our families that supported this
fundraiser – we made a whopping R20 000 plus. Our numberthon
winners have won some great books and book vouchers – you are
super stars!

PLANTS FOR JPC GARDEN
We would be very grateful for any donations of water-wise plants or slips for the Junior Campus garden.
Examples of water-wise plants are bulbinella, spur flower, etc.
HOLIDAY CLUB - JPC
Junior Campus on 3 & 4 July from 08.30 to 14:00.
Do you want to be a Junior Scientist? Have you ever wondered what makes drinks fizz? What makes cupcakes
rise? How is slime made? Why is jelly jiggly? And so much more! Cost is R120 per day (siblings pay R100 each).
Book your spot before you miss out!

Please remember to bring an extra sandwich on a Wednesday.
