Safety First
PROTECT YOUR SKIN
With the rush of cool air and the majority of your skin covered, it is easy to underestimate the possibility of sunburn while skiing. However, the combination of
high altitude and the snow's pristine, reflective surface actually increases your risk
of sunburn. Additional complications arise from the cold, dry air, which can cause
windburn by stripping your skin of moisture. Preventive measures can help you to
avoid these problems entirely.
The best way to prevent both windburn and sunburn while skiing is not leaving
skin exposed to the elements. For additional protection, you should cover all exposed skin with sunscreen. Use a moisturizing sunscreen to prevent damage arising from both sunburn and windburn, and reapply regularly to avoid having your
sunscreen's benefits diminish during your time on the slopes.

Always
An Ambassador
Attention Jackson Hole Ambassadors:
You absolutely nailed it last week! We had one of our best guest satisfaction weeks of the year.
More than 50 inches of new snow probably helped. Maybe the JH Rendezvous concerts helped.
Maybe the blue bird weekend on top of the new snow helped. But what our customers are telling us is that Jackson Hole’s employees made their stay.
91.8
We collectively delivered our second best Net Promoter Score of the season:
. Well
ahead of our objective of 89, and in doing so raised our season to day score to 89.4! Every functional area on or off the mountain had superior scores. One more measured week to go and
what a good way to go into the home stretch! And our customers let us know it.

Winter '15-'16
Insurance Reimbursement
**NEW** BCBSWY participants can call or stop into the local office to request to be added to the JHMR Seasonal Reimbursement list. Employees who have been on the list in years past MUST call or stop into the office
every year if they wish to be reimbursed.
BCBSWY: 1160 Alpine Lane Jackson, WY 83001 (next to Picas); 307.733.3909 **NEW**
JHMR has designed a program to reimburse employees who pay health insurance premiums out of pocket.
Eligible employees who have completed three or more consecutive full-time winter seasons will be reimbursed
depending on their years of service: 3-4 years, up to $125/month, 5-14 years, up to $150/month, 15+ years, up
to $175/month for the employee’s individual medical insurance premiums during their winter 2015-16 seasonal
employment.
***Reimbursement is taxed to be in compliance with the Affordable Care Act ***
To be eligible the employee must have at least 500 hours in the operating season and complete the season.
Completing the season is defined as terminating no earlier than 3 weeks prior to the end of the season with preapproval by the supervisor, unless the employee is terminated for lack of work.
Paperwork is due to HR & Safety no later than Friday, April 15th, 2016.
Save yourself some time and bring in all necessary documentation the first time. We need proof that you had
insurance, proof of what the premiums were for just you, and proof that you paid your premiums. Some examples of documents that will work:
• Bill stubs from your insurance company along with your check carbons from paying those bills.
• Bill stubs along with a printed screen from your online banking that shows deductions for the premiums.
• A letter from your insurance company that reflects which months you had coverage, the amount of your individual premium and confirmation that you are current on your payments. (Please have insurance company fax
to 307.739.6255 Attn: HR/Tyler)
Reimbursement will be given for partial months (ex: you work 4 days in April) pro-rated to the day as long as
we receive the proof of coverage and payment for that month.
If you have any questions please contact Tyler @ 307.739.2668 or [email protected].

Postive Feedback
Check out these glowing guest reviews from our post-departure email survey.
Keep up the good work everyone!
All staff were very friendly from the hotel, to ski staff, stores and restaurants. Great weather, lots to
do. LOVED it.
We love the terrain, ski school, the town and the ambiance. We are looking forward to
coming again.
The varied terrain great. Our visit 30 inches of snow, as good as it gets. Personnel at ski shops
very helpful.
We love Jackson Hole. You spend your resources on the important things - like a great
staff, good food, and well managed lifts and runs.
The skiing, food, people etc are outstanding. We have had the same Mountain instructor, Ragan Jolly,
for the last few years and she, like so many folks we have met are just outstanding
It was awesome! Let's make ZBB an annual deal!
Jimmy Anderson is an excellent instructor. All staff members at the kids ranch were top notch.
The quality of the food in the restaurants was surprising good - keep it up. All the staff
was pleasant and helpful - keep hiring like you do today.
My ski instructor will was awesome and so is Nelson Lee from Alexandria, Louisiana !
Bob, the ski instructor was awesome. He took the time to answer any questions. My skiing skills
improved remarkably because I was able to relax and just focus on the skills he was teaching.
We chose it for my son to learn skiing well in real powder with real joy. We came for snow and wildlife, didnt
really plan to ski much. He doesnt enjoy competitive or aggressive environments or sports but he has amazing coordination and loves to slide and fly and be in winter. I grew up near Jasper and wanted it in his bones.
Though there were lots of wild, high energy instructors, he got two of the most grounded, kind fellow possible.
My son is now in love with downhill skiing, seems to have a gentle aptitude, and feels he now "has a sport."
