LA MESITA RANCH
La Mesita Ranch is an exquisite private 139 acre
equestrian property north of Santa Fe's downtown plaza
at the junction of the High Road to Taos. The gated
property contains beautiful cottonwoods and gardens,
rolling hills, pastures, stables, indoor arena, historic main
home, pool, tennis court, guest homes and many 360
degree panoramic, photo opportunities for sunrise and
sunset overlooking the Sangre de Cristo and Jemez
mountain ranges.
Beyond the walls of Buffalo Thunder lies an exclusive
opportunity rarely offered to the public. Hilton
represents the indescribable La Mesita Ranch. La Mesita
Ranch is a private estate nestled in a lush river valley,
with eight private adobe residences designed by
legendary architect John Gaw Meem. This equine
property includes romantic pond vignettes with arching
cottonwood trees and breathtaking views of the Sangre
de Cristo, Jemez and Barranca Mountains. Idyllic
colonnades and intimate water features provide the most
memorable wedding location in the Southwest.
Tasting
We are pleased to provide a complimentary tasting for up to four (4) people for weddings of 200 or more guests. If you have
less than 200 guests and would like a tasting, we would be pleased to offer a tasting for a nominal charge of $50.00 plus
service and tax per person.
Multiple Choice Entrée Selection
Multiple Choice Entrée Menus are available with up to three (3) choices which include a Vegetarian option. The highest priced
entrée will apply for the pricing of all other entrees selected. Final numbers for multiple entrees are due five (5) business days
prior to the event. A method for designating entrée choice; i.e.: colored place cards, is the responsibility of the host.
Security
The hotel may require security guards for certain events; only hotel approved security firms may be used.
Coat Check
Coat Check services are available with a fee of $100.00 per attendant. Please contact the Catering Department for more
information.
Deposit/Payment Options
The hotel requires a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. Final payment is due three business days prior to the event
by cash, cashier or certified check or a major credit card.
Cancellations
Should it be necessary for you to cancel a function, any advance deposits will not be refunded. In addition, a cancellation f ee
may be charged and is due and payable at the time of cancellation. These amounts are due as liquidated damages and not as a
penalty.
Guarantees
The Resort requires notifying our Catering Department of the exact number of banquet or reception guests three (3) business
days prior to the start of the event/function. This confirmed number constitutes the guarantee. If fewer than the final guaranteed
number of guests attend the function, the final guaranteed number will be charged. If no guarantee is given, the expected number
of guests will be considered your guarantee. For every function, the resort will set additional seating of 3% above the
guaranteed number of guests up to 30 guests total. Our culinary team prepares your food & beverage items for the guaranteed
number only. No food may be removed from the function by any guest. If additional meals are added after guarantee is given
(i.e. substitutions, replacements, and special orders) these meals will be considered an addition to the guarantee.
Wedding Packages are Available for Weddings with 50 or More Guests
All Prices are Subject to a 22% Taxable Service Charge and 8% Applicable Sales Tax
Bartender Fee of $100.00 is waived with $1,200.00 in Sales Per Bar
Bartenders are a Requirement for All Beverage Services
Function Space
Our Resort reserves the right to alter event function space assignments with notification based upon the increases or decreases in
number of expected guests. All outdoor food functions must be buffet. We are unable to reserve banquet space for functions wi th
general admission tickets. Also, it is the guests’ responsibility to acquire all necessary licenses and permits required by the Pueblo
of Pojoaque. If minimum revenue guidelines are not met in food and beverage, the remaining balance will be billed as meeting
room rental. No Fog or Confetti Machines are allowed on property.
Decorations/Entertainment
Our Catering Department will be happy to assist you with your floral, decorating and entertainment needs. Ask your Catering
Sales Manager for more information. If you select your own décor company, approval must be obtained from your Catering
Sales Manager prior to affixing anything to walls, floors, and/or ceilings. Votive Candles with Glass Holders are available for
rental from the Resort at $1.00 each.
All prices are subject to change. Taxes: currently the sales tax rate is 8.3%. Gratuity and service charge: the combined gratuity
and service charge is equal to 22% of the food and beverage total, plus any applicable state and/or local taxes. A portion of this
combined charge (currently 15%) is a gratuity and will be fully distributed to servers, and where applicable, bussers and/or
bartenders assigned to the event. The remainder of the combined charge (currently 7%) is a service charge that is not a gratuity
and is the property of hotel to cover discretionary and administrative costs of your event.
