Coconut oil may not help you
lose weight, but recent studies
have shown that it is better to
cook with as it maintains its
integrity at higher heats than
most other oils. The result is
less carcinogens in your body.
Did You Know?
Cinnamon is REALLY good for
you. A new study suggests that
it may reduce blood sugar and
provide anti-aging benefits by
activating a specific protein in
the body.
Quotable Quote
“One man with courage makes
a majority.”
“The wisdom of man never yet
contrived a system of taxation
that would operate with perfect
equality.”
Andrew Jackson, 7th President
of the United States

Busting Loose!
The three stories of the Elephant, the Flea, and the Barracuda carry
the same moral (if you haven’t read these visit our blog and read the
‘Busting Loose” series). Very often, the only thing that hold a person
back are “imaginary” obstacles. We’ve sometimes been trained and
conditioned to limit our own potential.
For instance, if we do very poorly in a sport when we’re young, we
sometimes give up on that sport completely, thinking we’re bound to
do poorly in that sport forever. Similar outcomes can take place in
academics, the arts, and professional careers. When we accept those
opinions too often the perception becomes reality and a false law we
allow in our daily lives.
If we allow these false laws to define our lives then we can limit our
innovation and ability to break new laws. We will suddenly “bust
loose” when we realize that many of our former limitations were
imaginary or self-imposed.
There are too many to people who have broken loose to count. Two
that come to mind for me are: Abraham Lincoln, 7 political losses
before he became president. Laura Ingalls Wilder, Age 55 when she
was first published.
A little belief goes a long way!
