You’ll live with a homestay family and interact with local students to learn about the local cultures. You’ll participate in a variety of workshops to prepare you for your first semester on the Tulane campus, and you’ll have fun while doing it! Rabat hosts Morocco’s most prestigious universities, as well as many international institutions such as UNESCO and the World Bank. The city offers a combination of the modern and traditional, stunning colonial architecture, fascinating ruins, lovely gardens and green spaces. It provides a range of opportunities for students to experience its culture through art exhibits, music, and theater. It’s the birthplace of the great Renaissance painter Velazquez and the city from which Ferdinand and Isabella ruled Spain in the late 15th century. Seville was one of the last footholds of the Moorish empire that ruled the Iberian Peninsula. It is home to the ingenious barber of Seville and the tempestuous Carmen.
