On the Results page, you will see what titles are available, where they are located, and if they are currently on the library shelves. You can get additional information when you click onto each title. To access web sites associated with your keyword search, click on the ONE SEARCH or DIGITAL RESOURCES tabs at the top right of your results page. DESTINY Catalog-‐-‐-‐Find more than just books! • • Click the GET THE RESULTS link at the bottom of the page. • Click on the link to a site that has results for you and make sure to redo your keyword search on that specific site. Click LIST ALL at the top right of the page Scroll down and click onto MasterFILE Main Edition. Type in your search. To cite articles, click the CITE button on the right sidebar of the article. Scroll down for MLA. For home access: Go to the Township Library’s web page http://www.twpusc.org/library/index.html o You will need the barcode number from your TOWNSHIP LIBRARY CARD! On the right-‐hand side of the screen, click onto ONLINE DATABASES. Click POWER LIBRARY under “Databases by Subject,” or “General Reference.” o Follow the directions and enter the barcode number on your Township Library card. If you need to use your password, it is the last 4 digits of your phone number. o Then click onto the database that you want to use. Click the Encyclopedia of World Biography, 2004 Use the search bar on the left side of the page for the name person. If needed, login: user I.D.: uschs password: panther Choose “HIGH.” Type your search at the top of the page on the next screen. You can access eBooks and primary sources in the REFERENCE DESK area. You may want to start with “Academic Journals” or “ Critical Essays.” • When you click on a result, again look at the right sidebar for TOOLS options and RELATED SUBJECTS (for more links if needed).
