On the 24th day of June, inst, I received orders and instructions
to proceed to the Krakow District and accept an assigned District
from Dr, Michlin and begin the Survey as well as to help elect
Delegates for the Krakow Conference,
I left Lwow on the morning of the next day and having received
Jaroslow, Krosno, and Jaslo as my three Districts I made my first
stop at Jaroslow and forthwith commenced my work.

The entire city has been destroyed,It is one one of those price
ootiea where destruction and poverty reign supreme,There is not a single
house that has not been destroyd at least in part.
The people of whom there are a goodly number are housed in poorly
constructed barracks. Of all the housing so far seen in Galioia,these
found in this small town can not be surpassed for dirth,overcrowdedness etc,
Fifty % of these barracks are not even shelter against rain.
The usual 12 children in a single small room.
Only four Barracks are of real use- those are J.D.Cnewly constructed,

There is no hospital quaranteene is very poorly carried out on
account of the people being small business men and quaranteene means
the closing of their bread and butter,All of the small stores have
their living quarters in the rear of their store henoe the spread pf
the disease is without an end*
