If visiting CHSS by train If arriving at Canterbury West train station (from St Pancras International or Charing Cross, London) you can take a taxi to The University of Kent - ask for the University of Kent Darwin College bus stop. You will see building work currently underway (a new extension to the School of Social Policy) and you will have to walk around the old car park with the protective boarding on your right until you see this sign in the photo below. Follow the <- Cornwallis arrow and walk under the building through a short ‘tunnel’ which brings you into a courtyard. Turn immediately right and the entrance door to the George Allen Wing is straight ahead. Follow the signs to CHSS on the second floor. If you require The CHSS Knowledge Management Centre, it is the second door on the left once through the double doors. The CHSS Administration Office is straight ahead for all enquiries. If arriving at Canterbury East train station (from Victoria, London) you could take a taxi to The University of Kent - ask for the University of Kent Darwin College bus stop and follow the directions above to CHSS. Alternatively, buses to The University of Kent run at regular intervals from Canterbury bus station and Canterbury East and West railway stations. If you wish to catch a bus from the train station, take the Unibus or no. 26 bus to the Darwin College bus stop. To catch the no. 26 bus from Canterbury West train station cross Station Road West and walk about 50 metres on the right to the bus stop. To catch the more frequent Unibus from Canterbury West train station turn right out of the train station and walk along to the end of Station Road West. Use the zebra crossing to cross to the bus stop on the opposite side of St Dunstans Street and ask for Darwin College bus stop. From Canterbury East train station turn right out of the station and walk to the bus stop at Rhodaus Town, catch the Unibus and ask for Darwin College bus stop. DARWIN COLLEGE BUS STOP CHSS
