Q. What type of parties are available?
A: Aquatic Parties:
Wet ‘n Wild (6-14years): An aquatic adventure full of non-stop fun! Guided by our MSAC Party Leaders,
kids will splash, swim, tackle the inflatables, ride the waterslide and play games in the wave pool.
FlowRider (6-16years): Thanks to our awesome FlowRider, MSAC has the best waves this side of Port Phillip
Bay! An MSAC Flow Party gives you and your guests exclusive use of the FlowRider, with dedicated Party
Leaders teaching you how to Bodyboard and/or FlowBoard (standing up). After an hour on the FlowRider,
it’s time to dry off and celebrate with some delicious gourmet catering!
B: Stadium Parties:
Cave and Castle (4-8years): Set sail for fun and adventure and let your kids get carried away as they
explore the jungle gym, conquer the indoor playground and capture the bouncy jumping castle!
Super Sport (6-16years): These flexible, sports-themed parties allow you to select two high-energy
activities for your kids to enjoy with their MSAC Party Leaders. Select from soccer, basketball, cricket,
football, table tennis, inflatable soccer or jumping castle.
Q: What days/times do birthday parties run?
A: Birthday parties run every weekend at the times outlined below. FlowRider Parties are 1.5hrs and can
be organized dependent on bookings and events.

Q: How can I make a booking?
A: Make a tentative booking with the Children’s Programs Team over the phone or via email to hold your
desired date and time, and then send in an application form within 7 days to confirm the booking.
Q: Where can I find the Party Application Form?
A: On the Parties web page- http://www.melbournesportshub.com.au/msac/parties/
Q: What happens once I make a tentative booking?
A: Once a party application form has been lodged with deposit payment details, a confirmation pack is
sent. This includes the booking details, a pre-party checklist and MSAC party invitations.
Q: Does MSAC cater for patrons with disabilities?
A: Yes. Given prior notice, MSAC can provide programs to cater for patrons where additional assistance
may be required. Depending on the patrons abilities, alternate activities may need to be organised,
additional staff can be rostered, and party locations can be adjusted. In some instances, the Children’s
Programs Team may need carers to assist with the program and participants.
Q: Is there a required number of children per party?
A: The minimum number of children for a party is 12 and the maximum is 30.
Q: How much will a party cost?
A: The cost depends on which catering menu is chosen and prices range from $28.80-$33.20 per child.
Additional catering can also be organised for the children or adult guests if required.

Q: Can alternative catering be arranged for religious/health reasons?
A: Yes. Given time (min. 1 week) alternative menu options can be made available for allergies, health or
religious reasons.
Q: How many staff are allocated to each party?
A: Parties are organised with 1 staff member for every 10 children. As the minimum children in attendance
is 12, there will always be 2 leaders per party.
Q: Where do the parties meet on the day?
A: Each party meets in the main foyer of MSAC at the commencement time of the party booking. The
leaders will take the children to a party room, or change rooms if required.
Q: When do I need to confirm my party and make the final payment?
A: Final confirmation is due by the Tuesday prior to the party booking date and final payment will be
processed on the Thursday prior to the party date via the credit card details provided on the application
form.
Q: Can MSAC arrange a special party outside of the current party structural offerings?
A: We can tailor and create a party or event that is requested through the Events and Bookings team
given prior notice.
