Mrs. Hunter has been at WHS for a few weeks now and she and students are settling in to new routines. Mrs. Hunter uses a traditional art instruction approach focusing on the elements and principles of art. Students will be learning drawing and shading skills in the coming months. All students taking art should have brought home a syllabus for their class, to be signed and returned to Mrs. Hunter ASAP. 6th & 7th Grade Social Studies Monday, we will be learning the map skills that relate with orienteering. Tuesday, students will become cartographers by creating contour maps. They will also continue learning how to read contour maps. The rest of the week will be sent exploring different kinds of maps, and they will be beginning working toward a final project. The due date for that project has not been determined yet. Don't panic.
