FL Moffett: Giovanny Gonzalez, Adrian Gonzalez, XeMarrion
Jones, Mula Bwe
Giovanny Gonzalez is in Mrs. Hayes' Kindergarten class. His favorite
subject is Reading. He says his Dad is his role model. When he grows
up, Giovanny wants to be a doctor. He really enjoys reading, playing
games, and playing outside. Giovanny was chosen as Rider of the Week
because he has a great attitude towards school and is always anxious
to complete his work and learn new things. FL Moffett is proud to have
Giovanny on their campus.
Adrian Gonzalez is in Mrs. Duvon's Kindergarten class. His favorite
subject is Science because they learn a lot. Adrian says that Mrs. Duvon is his role model because she helps him learn and makes him
smarter. When he grows up, Adrian wants to be a fireman. He likes to
learn math, playing with his friends, watching TV at home, playing
outside and riding his bike. Adrian was chosen as Rider of the Week
because he is such a sweet, caring student. He cares for other people's
feelings in the school and he is also very respectful and well-mannered.
XeMarrion Jones is in Mrs. Fults' Kindergarten class. His favorite
subjects are Reading and Library Center. He really loves to check out
books. He chooses his uncle has his role model because he is the best! When he grows up, XeMarrion wants to work at Walmart.
He really likes playing with his friends at school, playing X-Box at home, playing soccer, having fun with his brother, eating pizza,
and reading books. XeMarrion was chosen as Rider of the Week because he works hard and tries his best. he is proud of himself
when he does a good job. He loves to read and he loves going to the library to check out books. XeMarrion follows the rules and he
has a beautiful smile for everyone.
Mula Bwe is in Mrs. Fitzgerald's Kindergarten class. She loves all subjects because she just likes school! Her role model is her
mother. When she grows up, Mula wants to be a teacher. She really likes to learn and playing hide and seek with her little
brother. Mula was chosen as Rider of the Week because She is a wonderful girl and her teacher enjoys having her in the classroom. She is responsible and has a great attitude. She contributes, participates in class, and is an inspiration to all of her classmates. She is kind and is a role model for all of FL Moffett.
Center Elementary: Omar Olalde and Lesly Figueroa
Omar Olalde is in Third Grade. He loves Science because he loves to learn all he can about Outer Space. His Dad is his role
model because he likes to have others help him with his work and he works hard to provide for his family. Omar wants to grow up
to be a Professional Soccer Player so he can stay active for the rest of his life. He
really likes to go to the park and swing and go round and round on the Merry-goRound. Omar was chosen as Rider of the Week because he is the definition of a
“Hard Working Student” who always gives his absolute best. He is a student that
can be trusted and counted on to show others what it means to be a “Good Citizen”. A caring and kind personality, Omar is always willing to help a friend in
need.
Lesly Figueroa is in Second Grade. She says her favorite subject in school is
Math because she loves to add and subtract numbers. Her mom Is her role model
because she takes really good care of her and tries to give her everything she
needs. Lesly really wants to grow up to be a Doctor because she likes to do things
that help make people feel better. She loves to get on the Merry-go-Round at the
park because she likes the feeling of getting dizzy. Lesly was chosen as Rider of
the Week because she is a student that makes any room a little brighter with her
bubbly personality and has a very caring nature toward other students. Lesly is
always the first person to laugh at herself and you can’t help but feel good around
her. A very hard working student, Lesly strives to do her best in everything.
Lesly is what every teacher wants, a student that is excited to be at school!
Center Intermediate: Kristen Orsak and Key’Savalyn Barnes
Kristen Orsak is in Fourth Grade. Her favorite subjects are Science and ELA/R because they are easy and fun! She chooses her
Mom as her role model because she is a Christian, has accomplished something with her life, and is kind to others. When she
grows up, Kristen wants to be a Pediatrician. She really enjoys sports like softball,
gymnastics and basketball. She also likes playing outside with her dog, sisters, and
brothers. She is a part of the GT Program at CIS. Kristen was chosen as Rider of the
Week because she puts forth effort and always wants to better herself. She is an excellent writer and a great role model for her peers.
Key’Savalyn Barnes is in Fourth Grade. His favorite subjects are Math, Science, Social Studies, and Writing. He chooses his uncle and his sister as his role models. When
he grows up, Key’Savalyn hopes to become a professional football or basketball player.
He really enjoys playing sports, discovering things, playing with animals, and going to
PE. Key’Savalyn was chosen as Rider of the Week because of his willingness to always
do the best he possibly can. He works hard in class and while playing sports. He is a
creative thinker and constantly tries to improve.
Center Middle School: Chasity Ellington and Clay Snider
Chasity Ellington has her eyes on a future as a veterinarian. She plans to go to college
not too far away from Center. She says her role model is her ELAR teacher, Mrs. Horn,
because she makes students want to learn and makes them feel good about learning. Chasity has had a great year in seventh grade, and loves to cheer and play softball. Chasity is a
very hard-working student. She is motivated and wants to be successful. She asks questions, puts forth her best effort, and comes in for extra help when she feels the need. More
than anything else, she has respect for herself and those around her. She is polite and a
positive role model for her classmates.
Clay Snider (Trevin) is a seventh grader at Center Middle School. He has enjoyed the
school year and his teachers. He especially likes math class. His biggest role model is his
dad because he does all he can to please his family. Clay plans to go to a great baseball
college or university. He stays busy with baseball, football, basketball, and hunting. Coach Bobby Betts nominated Trevin for this honor. Betts says, "Trevin is a very
bright young man who always has a smile on his face. He carries himself well and is always
looking to assist. He is continuously giving his all in everything he does, whether it is
sports or academics. He is a pleasure to teach and is always interested in what is being
taught."
Center High School: Lorena Gonzalez and Aldo Luna
Lorena Gonzalez is a Sophomore. Her favorite subject is World History. She chooses all
of the positive people around her as role models. After high school, Lorena wants to pursue a career as a Massage Therapist. She plans to attend the University of Dallas. While
in high school, she has been a member of the cross-country team, played soccer, was a
cheerleader her Freshmen year runs track, and plays clarinet in the Roughrider Band. In
her spare time, she likes to get her nails done and participate in her youth group at
church. Lorena was chosen as Rider of the Week because she always has a smile on her
face and has a great attitude. She leads by example and gives her best every day with no
excuses or complaints. She is a great person and will be a ray of light to those around
her.
Aldo Luna is a Junior. His favorite subjects are Math (PreCal) and World History. He
chooses his father as his role model because he has always pictured him as “Superman.”
There is nothing he can’t do! After high school, Aldo just wants to be happy. He plans to
attend either Otterbein University or the University of Texas at Tyler. He wants to pursue a career in Business Management or Administration. While in high school, he played
Varsity Soccer. He loves being outside and enjoying life. He also likes going on vacations
and visiting his family in Mexico as well as in Chicago (where he moved from this year).
He hopes to join the Junior Chamber of Commerce next year because he’d like to volunteer his time for the community. Aldo was chosen as Rider of the Week because he always has a great attitude in class. He is a leader and respected by his peers. He is always
eager to learn and gets other students involved. The sky is the limit for Aldo!
