Bolivia - Chimu Adventures

Bolivia
Bordering Lake Titicaca, the highest commercially navigable
lake in the world, boasting amazing geological phenomena
such as the Valley of the Moon and the world’s largest salt
flats, as well as thousands of square miles of virgin Amazon
rainforest and Andean peaks, it is evident there’s much to see
on a Bolivia tour.
B O L I V I A
Bolivia is a destination that is largely
off the beaten track. However, the country
rewards the visitor with unparalleled
scenery, a fascinating history and a
remarkable variety of cultures, many
dating from before the Spanish arrival.
The country also has a long, eventful history - from Inca
and Spanish conquests to troubled independence. This has
inevitably left its cultural mark. The country is filled with
pre-Inca ruins, such as Tiwanaku; Inca remnants, such as the
Temple of the Moon on Lake Titicaca; Colonial architecture, as
seen in Sucre and La Paz; and bustling, modern cities, such as
Santa Cruz.
