The tour for NPS Rangers will show future MAPR site and currently open townsite properties. SECURITY NOTICE: All participants must be U.S. Citizens. No photographs are allowed on other Los Alamos National
Laboratory property. Attendees should be prepared to leave personal cell phones on the bus for some areas. Additionally, please
adhere to the DOE and LANL prohibited articles procedure: do not bring firearms, explosives, knives greater than 2.5 inches,
alcohol, illegal drugs, etc., onto Laboratory property. All personnel on Laboratory property are subject to random inspections by
Protective Force Officers.
SAFETY NOTICE: Please wear long pants and shoes with closed toes and heels. Potential hazards include steep terrain, tripping
hazards, rattlesnakes and brambles. COMFORT: Wear a sunhat, sunblock and bring a jacket and water to drink. We are in the high desert at approximately 7200 feet.
Temperatures could range from 40° to 80° during your tour.
