Wrap a small pink plastic bag around a
paper towel tube. Be sure the bag doesn’t
cover the ends of the tube. Now wrap
clear packing tape around the bag a bunch
of times. Don’t get any tape on the tube!

Wrap clear tape around the plastic bag.
Don’t get any tape on the bottle! Take
another plastic bag and tape it over the
first bag. Now slide the taped plastic off
the bottle. This will be the lower half of
the pig’s body.
Finish making the pig’s legs by
sliding a condiment cup into
the bottom of each leg, then
tape the cups into place.
Cut off the roll of tape, then slide
the tube out of the plastic. You
just made a leg for the pig! Make
three more legs the same way.

To make the top half of the pig’s body,
wrap a plastic bag around the top of the
bottle and cover the bag in tape—but
not the top of the bottle. See the photo?
Now tape another bag over the first bag.
Slide the taped plastic off the bottle.
The pig needs a head! Using masking tape,
tape a condiment cup upside down onto
the bottom of a plastic cup. Wrap the
whole thing in a plastic bag, then wrap
tape around the bag.
Make the eyes more interesting
by taping two curled paperclips
over the buttons.
Place the top and bottom
halves of the pig together,
then tape them into place.

To give the pig eyes, tape
two black buttons onto
the pig’s head.
To make the pig’s body, slide
a plastic bottle (bottom first)
about halfway inside a plastic
bag. Bunch up the plastic bag
over the bottom of the bottle.
Attach the head to the body
with clear tape.
A pig isn’t a pig without a curly tail! Cut
a small garbage bag into strips, then tape
one end of the strips together. Tape this
end to the back of the piggy.
Oink, oink! Make more pigs using different-coloured bags!

For the pig’s ears, make an
extra leg by following Steps
1 and 2, then cut two strips
from the leg. These strips will
be the ears. Tape the curly
ears to the pig’s head.

Artzooka your pig by adding
colourful polka dots, or
anything you like! Try bending
and taping the piggy’s legs to
make it look like it’s running.
