Thunderstorm and Tornado Policy
Christian Reformed Church
If a tornado watch or warning is in effect up to one hour preceding any worship service or meeting in the church, the service or
meeting will automatically be canceled.
If a tornado watch is issued during a meeting, the meeting will
dismiss immediately and people will be urged to return to their
homes. If a tornado warning is issued during a meeting, people
will be dismissed to the southwest rooms of the church basement.
If a severe thunderstorm watch or warning is in effect prior to a
meeting, the meeting can be held. If a severe thunderstorm watch
or warning is issued while a meeting is in progress, the meeting
will continue.
