HIGHLIGHTS (2010-2016) Material sent to recycling increased by 2.1 million pounds Recycled products include: paper, packaging, metal and plastic, glass bead, wood, rejects, cans and cardboard. Material sent to the landfill reduced by Electricity consumption reduced through new lighting, solar panels, motion sensors and repairs. Since 2010, the amount of energy used to produce each square foot of laminate reduced by 4.7 million pounds through recycling and waste reduction (equivalent to the amount of trash produced by 2,908 people in one year). 0.012 kWh. Raw material waste reduced by 9.5 million pounds through processing improvements (equivalent to 1,604,971 sheets of laminate, which is 2.6x the height of the Willis Tower). Fuel usage reduced by 220,057 gallons by super-efficient tractors, tires (equivalent to 1,504,202 miles, which is 358 round trips from Seattle, Washington, to Austin, Texas).
