Conclusion
FNC access did not have large e¤ects on political knowledge from
2000 to 2008
May have increased knowledge in 2004
Especially on topics favorable to Republicans (some evidence of this in
other years as well).
FNC access increased knowledge about topics on which it focused
attention, and decreased knowledge on other issues.
