CALL FOR AWARD NOMINATIONS
The National DHIA annual meeting will be held at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark, St.
Louis, Missouri, March 11-12, 2014. You are invited to nominate candidates for the
National DHIA H. Victor Joachim Distinguished Leadership Award/Martin A. Wilson
Memorial Award. The award will be presented at the annual meeting. Please share this
information with colleagues who may be interested in submitting nominations. Only those
DHI affiliates that are members of National DHIA may submit nominations.

National DHIA H. Victor Joachim Distinguished Leadership/Martin A. Wilson
Memorial Award is presented to a DHIA dairy producer who has been a leader in
DHIA or the dairy industry, and rendered outstanding and unselfish service for
many years, as well as making a notable contribution to advancing DHIA in the
United States; or, is a worthy person who has been employed in a DHI
management position for at least five years and has been dedicated to improving
DHIA.
The nomination form and appropriate biographical information must be completed and
received by 4:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on Monday, December 30, 2013. Send
forms and supporting documents via the U.S. Postal Service (National DHIA, 421 S Nine

MARTIN A. WILSON MEMORIAL AWARD
Nomination Form
This award is presented to a DHIA dairy producer who has been a leader in DHIA or the dairy industry, and
rendered outstanding and unselfish service for many years, as well as making a notable contribution to
advancing DHIA in the United States; or, is a worthy person who has been employed in a DHI management
position for at least five years and has been dedicated to improving DHIA.
Please note that past National DHIA directors are not eligible for this award until they have been
retired from the board at least two years.
The H. Victor Joachim Distinguished Leadership/Martin A. Wilson Memorial Award consists of an
inscribed plaque and expenses paid for the recipient and spouse to travel to the National DHIA
annual meeting.
