7th Grade March 13, 2017 The Pure Michigan Flower Sale ends today; no late orders will be accepted. Muffin and Bagel sale Wednesday, March 15 Faked Out by the News-an assembly with Wes Smith and Emily Caswell of The County Press on Thursday, March 16 Officer AJ Wetzel will be here on Tuesday, March 21 to talk to students about technology use, social media, and cybersafety. Families Against Narcotics will be included in the presentation, sharing age-appropriate information about substance abuse. NJHS Book Drive: new or gently used books for 6-8 graders; they will be donated to a school in need. CURRICULUM ELA: Students have started their research paper. The calendar was given to them last Monday; they have access to it in Google Classroom as well. The first 10 notecards are due on Tuesday, March 14. We will work on thesis statements next. Students are learning Social St udies: Students will about cell structure, function, and learn about the concept of information processing. They will empire, and what societies begin by learning about organelles needed to become empires. and their functions.
