Dear Middle and Upper School Faculty,
WinterFest is back and scheduled for Saturday, December 10,
from 11am – 5pm in the 375 Pearl Street building. Preparations are
in full swing and you and your students can help make the event
be a big success!
To complement a DIY wrapping paper and gift card classroom
project being made by Pre- and Lower School students, the
WinterFest Committee is hosting a 1-week Flash Contest for
BFS WinterFest Gift Wrap Artwork open to Middle and Upper
School students. Please help us spread the word!
Details on the contest are below and attached is a flyer you can
share with your students beginning November 2. The contest
ends November 9!
1-Week Flash Contest for BFS WinterFest Gift Wrap Artwork
– Open to all Brooklyn Friends Middle and Upper School students
– Any type of artwork is acceptable, but entries should be
submitted as an electronic image (jpg or png preferred) to
[email protected]
– Contest begins November 2 and ends November 9
– Two winning submissions will be chosen (one from Middle
School and one from Upper School)
– Winning submissions will be transformed into patterned
wrapping paper (in consultation with the winners) and will be
sold at WinterFest on Saturday, December 10, to help raise
funds for our school
– Winning submissions will be determined by the WinterFest
Committee
– Winners will receive two rolls of their own gift wrap plus
school-wide recognition
