Thomasville Takes Cabinetry to New Heights
In 2009, Thomasville changed the playing field of semi custom cabinetry
throughout the industry by introducing 39”H wall /93”H tall cabinets. This
expanded design creativity and was the answer to one of the most
requested sizes by kitchen designers nationwide. But designers wanted
Thomasville to push the envelope once again.
Starting February 28th, Thomasville is now offering cabinetry at yet another
height alignment: 33”H wall cabinets, 51”H stacked cabinets and 87”H tall
cabinets! This is a great way to design around odd sized soffits or give
new dimensions options to “casteling cabinets”.
You asked…Thomasville answered: (86) 33”H Wall SKUs; (55 ) 51”H tall SKUs
and (144) 87”H tall SKUS! Pair that with Thomasville’s introduction to our
standard construction – factory installed Quiet Close Door Mechanisms
(PDM) factory installed on most cabinets and Quiet Close Sliding Shelves
on most sliding shelf cabinets!

New Tall Mitered Door Process
In most markets, Decorá is already 1 year
old and the response to the brand has
been overwhelming! As there are
similarities to another fine Masterbrand
Cabinet line, Thomasville, there are just
as many distinctions. One of which was
in the way Decorá manufactured the
tall, mitered utility doors.
Previously, Decorá would batten 2
equally sized doors together to fashion a
single pantry door.
You asked…we
listened and as of February 28th, Decorá
will be using a single integrated door,
much like the one used in Thomasville.
With respect to appliance panels, if a customer needs a panel that is 36" x 72“, it would
consist of would be four doors, roughly 18" x 36" and would have to be field assembled.
With the new integrated method, the appliance panel would consist of will be two
doors roughly, 18" x 72”. Tall wainscot pieces can be elaborately designed with a
maximum dimension of 27" x 96”! Your creativity has no limits with Cabinetry by Decorá!
