TORNADO AND FIRE DRILLS
Recently, we experienced severe weather at our center.
We have a severe weather plan that children take cover and use their
sleep mats as part of the procedure. Some parents viewed in on the
cameras when weather alarms were sounded in their area, children
were at the end of nap time with mats out, so the teachers
followed the plan and everyone did a good job.
On a regular basis, our Center conducts tornado and fire drills.
Each room has certain procedures they follow in these drills. In the
rare circumstance of extreme weather or natural disaster, the Center
may close. If the Center closes, we will attempt to notify you of the
closure by any means such as radio announcements on WSB AM 750,
the Internet (www.wsbradio.com), voice mail at the center
(let it ring at least 8 times), and/or personal phone calls.
Best Regards, KRK Management Team

It's beginning to look a lot like....SPRING TIME! As the April showers dwindle and the May flowers start to bloom, we are so excited to be growing with our little ones in Suite 200. This month’s theme will be "The Great Outdoors", where we will explore very cool things that make up the beauty of Mother Nature. We will have two exciting events: Our "Blooming Together Picnic", in which we will be planting flowers and enjoying a nice spring snack with our friends & our special "Camping In Spring Day"; with s'mores, a tent, pajamas, and spe‐
cial stories! I’ll keep you informed on the tentative dates for both events in our classroom. Teacher/ Parent Conferences are next Wednesday and Thursday. Contact me regarding a date and time you would like to meet, please do so by Monday, May 4,2015. Happy Birthday to our special little one, Parker McMiller 5/28! May your spring be full of new beginnings! Sincerely, Ms. Homeka, May 2015

Hello all,
May is going to be a exciting month.
Week 39 will begin with Charlie the Caterpillar . We will start off with

focused for 20 min increments. Our math connection will focus on posing informational questions while collecting data to organize and record
results using objects, pictures and picture graphs. Week 40 we will learn
about Rainbows and what ROYGBIV stands for. Week 41 will begin another Fundamental Focus. The Me I can Be. During this focus the students

their own feelings. Week 42 will be the final week of school. The students
will begin speaking in complete sentences consisting of four or more
words. May 21st at 7:00 is Graduation night. The students are preparing a
great song to sing at the ceremony. I hope everyone can make it! Don’t forget we are closed May 25th. Summer Camp begins Tuesday, May
