This includes credit card fraud, bank fraud, debit card fraud, tax fraud, identity theft, and more. TRY THESE TIPS TO PROTECT YOURSELF FROM FRAUD: 1. Do not store your account number, PIN and password in your wallet or purse. 2. Use the official posted phone number to call your financial institution instead of replying to a number received via text or email. 3. Never give out your account number, PIN or password on the phone unless you initiate the call. (TCCU and our fraud monitoring services will NEVER ask for this information over the phone unless you initiated the call.) 4. Do not send your full account number, PIN or password via e-mail or mail. 5. Never store your account information on a unsecured public computer. 6. Never enter your personal information on public Wi-Fi channels. 7. Sign up for online banking & mobile banking to help track your account(s). 8. Enroll in e-statements to avoid paper statements being lost in the mail or stolen from your mailbox.
