Visit us at the Tulsa State Fair!
The Tulsa State Fair opens today and our detectives are diligent in
solving crimes! Come shake hands with us and pick up a pamphlet
regarding open cases at the Tulsa Police Booth inside the Quick
Trip Center! Our detectives will be there at various times to answer
questions or take information on several open cases. The Tulsa
Police Department's Homicide, Missing Person, and Cold Case Units
are attempting to generate leads and get answers by handing out
these pamphlets and reminding the public, “we never forget”!
Anyone with information is asked to take a pamphlet and contact
the Tulsa Police Department either by phone or email:

Detective in the Spotlight!
Name: Mark Robinson
Nickname: Detective Mike Zenoni calls me the Hobbit (guess it’s from Lord of the Rings). I
always get short jokes and I never get mad or upset, but I will dish it back!
Family: Married for 29 years with a 24-year-old daughter.
Pet Peeves: When people litter.
What do you do as a Crime Scene Detective for the Homicide Unit? I respond to all major
crime scenes for photographs, evidence collection, latent prints,and/or additional processes
(i.e. Homicides, suicides, rapes, robberies, burglaries, etc.), as well as Missing Person’s cases.
What has been the most interesting case you've had? It would probably be the Allison
Castaldi case from April 2009. She was living with her boyfriend, Randall Wagers, and her
mother reported her missing. We discovered that the crime scene had been in the living room.
There was a bullet hole in the floor, a mop with a copper jacket, and blood on the floor with the
use of Luminol. There was a missing couch and plastic trash can from the residence. Suspect confessed to the murder after
being confronted with the evidence and lead us to her body which was found inside the missing trash barrel in Nowata, OK.
What is the strangest request you've ever had from a citizen? I have had several requests from citizens wanting to see their
deceased loved ones even after they have been dead for several days and in a severe state of decomposition. I always deny their
request and tell them they don’t want to remember them that way.
Detective Robinson has been with the Department for 26 years and the Detective Division for 12 years.

Hard Hitting Detective Work!
Rlando Bowie was arrested on September 22nd for the brutal sexual attack and
robbery of a Tulsa woman in June. A warrant was issued just two days after the attack
when fingerprints left at the scene identified him as the suspect. Fugitive Warrant
Detectives, the Gang Unit, Sex Crimes Detectives, and others have been looking for
Bowie. The Gang and Warrants Unit caught up with him at the Towne Square
Apartments, where he fled on foot and was attempting to retrieve a pistol from his
pocket when he was arrested. He was interviewed by Sex Crimes Detectives where he
made several statements placing him at the scene.
Rlando Bowie
He has been charged with pointing a deadly weapon, two counts of rape by
instrumentation, first-degree burglary and first-degree armed robbery.
