Course Title:
12th Grade English/Reading - # 132
Description:
This course is designed to advance continued success in reading, writing, and oral
communication. The course focuses on continued improvement of students’ skills and
experience with British and American Literature. Genres include the following: short
story, poetry, epic, novel, drama, and nonfiction. Students will read novels and report
on various aspects of a specific novel’s content and structure. Students will improve
and polish writing skills utilizing proper grammar, usage, and mechanics. Students will
improve oral communication skills.
Goals:
To study and analyze literature and improve thinking, writing, and research skills.
