Tracey Tunstall first became involved in the junior side of the game back in 1992 when her 2 boys started playing the sport at Kingaroy Junior Redbacks within the South Burnett. Coaching and managerial: - Coach of Kingaroy Junior Soccer Club teams since 1993 - Kingaroy Junior Soccer Club Carnival Co coordinator from 1993 onwards (source sponsorship for carnivals, organise invitations, draws, referee allocations, field marking and set up and so on for each carnival) - South Burnett Representative Team Coach 1994 – 1998 - Manager of South Burnett Rep Teams 1999 – 2003 - instrumental in taking representative South Burnett players into the Toowoomba Colts competition - South Burnett Property Officer 1996 – current (designed and implemented the South Burnett tracksuit, strips and travel clothing) - South Burnett Junior Soccer Association Secretary 2000 – 2004 - South Burnett Primary Schools Zone Girls Representative Soccer Team Coach 2002/2003/2004/2005 taking teams to Wide Bay - South West Queensland Assistant Coach 2004 and 2005 for rep teams attending State Titles - only female coach at the State Titles - Lead coach for Squirts program within Kingaroy 2010 2011 2012 2013 and introduced to Barambah club 2014 Executive duties: - South Burnett Delegate to South West Queensland from 2000 to current - South Burnett Junior Soccer Association Vice President 2005 –2007 - Administrator for the South Burnett Referees Branch since 2003 including organising referees courses - Instrumental in writing and obtaining Queensland Government Sport and Recreation Grants for both Kingaroy Club and South Burnett since 1998 for Club Development Program grants for player, coach, administrators, sports med and referees development, Come and Try days together with Minor Facilities such as irrigation systems to fields together with sponsorship for teams and carnivals - Successfully applied for Goals for Grassroots grants for irrigation system and also tickets and $ towards club goals - Successfully applied for several Telstra Grants, McDonalds Grants, Volunteer and Small Equipment Grants, Suncorp, Sunwise Grants for the club - Successfully applied for two grants with Community Benefit Fund to acquire a clubhouse and toilet block for Kingaroy Junior Soccer Club - Chairperson of the South West Queensland Junior Standing Committee since 2005 - Position on the State Junior Standing Committee at Football Queensland for 2005 and 2006 along with Deputy Chair of State Standing Committee 2007 onwards - Involves schools in the sport and co-ordinates Primary Schools Winter Carnivals for South Burnett area. - Influential in getting Youth Development Program off the ground in South Burnett in 2006. - Introduced Twilight Football at club in October 2009 to look at another avenue for the children to be active and involved during the off season along with keeping the coaches hands in on coaching and developing. - Introduced Squirts program to the area to involve 3 – 5 year olds and get them participating and being active with movement, gross motor and agility. This fun program is open to the wider community in the hopes of players acquiring basic skills, participating and exercising through drills, practices and fun games. - Secretary of Football South Burnett CA 2008 – to present. Significant in forming Football South Burnett CA in 2007 against much opposition of change - President of Kingaroy Junior Club 2002 – 2013 inclusive - Integral part of bringing SWQ Zone Championships to fruition to retain and further develop the players and coaches within South West Queensland Football Honours: - Awarded Life Membership to Kingaroy Junior Soccer Club 2000 - Awarded Life Membership to South Burnett Junior Soccer Association 2003 (only life member of both associations) - Awarded the Kingaroy Shire Council Australia Day Award 2005 for Sports Administrator ( first female ) - Awarded the opportunity to run as a Queen’s Baton Relay Runner in the Burnett in 2006 - Nominated for Pride of Australia Medal in 2010 - Football Queensland Volunteer of the Year 2012 Tracey still enjoys being a part of creating opportunities and development for all players within our zone – whether it be club, association or zone level – no matter what their ability on the field.
