NYS NEVADA 11 MAN 12U DIVISION REVIEWS – SPRING 2017 June 3rd, 2017 The #2 Seed Bishop Gorman Gators defeated the #4 Seed Henderson Cowboys 49-14 at Liberty High School in the Nevada State Championship Game Cam’ron Barfield scored 3 touchdowns to lead the Bishop Gorman Gators to a tremendous victory as they managed to end the dominate run of the Henderson Cowboys in the 12U Division with an offensive outburst on the biggest stage. Barfield scored on electrifying runs covering 56, 33, and 61 yards. Also scoring for the Gators were, Alexx Martinez on an amazing 90-yard romp, Masiah Pagota on a 49-yard run, Jaden Turner on a 40-yard TD pass from QB Jeramiah Hughes, Camden Miller on a fantastic 23-yard blocked punt return, and Miller once again on a rambling 56-yard run. The Cowboys scored on a 6 yard by Levi Fulton and a 15-yard run by Isaiah Hampton. The Gators pounded the rock for 362 yards behind a fabulous performance by their offensive line. Cam’ron Barfield led the attack with 166 yards and Alexx Martinez added 90 yards rushing. Jeramiah Hughes passed for 40 yards. The Gators defense played great with Erick Aguilera recovering a fumble and making 6 tackles. Cam’ron Barfield and Jaylin Morrison each had 5 tackles for the Gators. The Cowboys rushed for 120 yards with Isaiah Hampton gaining 76 yards and Levi Fulton adding 38 yards. Fulton had an incredible season being the only player to rush for over 1000 yards, while scoring 17 touchdowns along the way. He also recovered a fumble in this game on defense. The Gators ran only 13 plays, and scored on 8 of those plays to show case their speedy scoring ability. In the end, the Gators offense was on display in their Nevada State Championship Victory. May 20th, 2017 The #4 Seed Henderson Cowboys defeated the #8 Seed Las Vegas Cowboys 41-20 at Valley High School Levi Fulton and Isaiah Hampton each scored 2 touchdowns to lead the Henderson Cowboys past the Las Vegas Cowboys in a semifinal showdown at Valley High School this past weekend. Fulton scored on an awesome 78-yard kickoff return and a 2-yard run. Hampton scored on 8 & 48 yard runs. Hampton also passed 27 yards to Jayven Perez for a touchdown. Kayl Maack also scored for the Henderson Cowboys on a pretty 37-yard pic 6 TD. The Las Vegas Cowboys scored on a 40-yard run by Kevin Stuart, 40-yard run by Isaiah Esters, and a great 65-yard TD pass to Ormay’jay Campbell form Kevin Stuart. The Henderson Cowboys rushed for 209 yards with Isaiah Hampton gaining 150 yards and Levi Fulton adding 45 yards rushing. Hampton also passed for 47 yards. The Henderson Cowboys defense played great with Brody Clark getting 2 interceptions and Jayven Perez adding 1. The Las Vegas Cowboys were led by QB Kevin Stuart with 73 yards passing and on defense Michael Floyde and Ormay’jay Campbell each had an interception and a sack. The Henderson Cowboys will now look forward to a Nevada State Championship showdown with the Bishop Gorman Gators at Liberty High School. The #2 Seed Bishop Gorman Gators defeated the #3 Seed Las Vegas Seahawks 18-12 at Western High School Cam’ron Barfield scored 2 touchdowns to lead the Bishop Gorman Gators in a thriller over the Las Vegas Seahawks at Western High School in this semifinal showdown. After a scoreless 1st quarter, the Gators scored on a 10-yard run by Justyn Rhett for a 6-0 lead. The Seahawks scored in the 2nd quarter on a great 50-yard run by Aginea Cunningham and 6-6 tie score. Still in the 2nd quarter the Seahawks struck again on a 5-yard run by Cunningham for a 12-6 lead. Just before the half the Gators scored on a brilliant 60yard run by Cam’ron Barfield for a 12-12 tie score. In the 3rd quarter the Gators took the lead 18-12 on a 5-yard run by Barfield. For the remainder of the 3rd quarter and the 4th quarter the Gators defense stiffened, and they held on for an 18-12 victory. The Gators rushed for 180 yards with Barfield gaining 169 yards. The Gators defense was fabulous allowing 64 total yards and limiting Aginea Cunningham to 58 yards rushing. Jaylin Morrison recovered a fumble for the Gators defense. The Seahawks were led by Aginea Cunningham with 58 yards rushing and fumble recoveries by Montrell Smith and Bobby Lee. The Gators will look forward to chomping down on the Henderson Cowboys in what should be an exciting Nevada State Championship matchup. The Las Vegas Sun Devils defeated the 702 49ers 39-19 at Liberty High School Marell Finks had a fabulous game scoring 4 touchdowns and rushing for 264 yards to power the Las Vegas Sun Devils to victory. Finks scored on slippery runs covering 73, 61, 47, and 66 yards. Also scoring for the Devils was Quinten Larry on monster runs of 97 & 68 yards. The 49ers scored on 16 & 34 yard runs by Dzjon Hal and Hal connected with Jacob Hepker on a 13-yard TD pass. The Devils pounded the rock for a miraculous 465 yards rushing behind a stupendous job by their offensive line. Along with Marell Finks and his 264 yards rushing, Quinten Larry added 162 yards. Lionel Jones had an interception for the defense. The 49ers rushed for 183 yards with Dzjon Hal gaining 111 yards and Jacob Hepker adding 44 yards. Hal also passed for 77 yards, all to Hepker. The Las Vegas Aces defeated the Henderson Bearcats 27-22 at Valley High School Jeramiah Nichols scored 2 touchdowns to lead the Las Vegas Aces to victory. Nichols scored on a 45yard scamper and a 20-yard TD pass from QB Cody Powell. Also scoring was Elijah Harris on a 50-yard kickoff return and Vincent Plancarte on a pretty 50-yard TD pass from Powell. The Bearcats scored on 12 & 6 yard runs by Tyler Robbins and a 7-yard run by Caden Hill. The Aces rushed for 117 yards with Jeramiah Nichols gaining 80 yards and QB Cody Powell passing for 114 yards. On defense Christopher Razeeq had an interception and Jeramiah Nichols recovered a fumble. The Bearcats rushed for 132 yards with Tyler Robbins gaining 62 yards and Michael Green adding 53 yards. QB Brandon Tunnell passed for 48 yards and Bryson Tunnell had an interception. The Las Vegas Sun Devils defeated the Shadow Ridge Mustangs 33-12 at Ed Fountain Park #6 on Monday, May 22nd Marell Finks and Quinten Larry each scored 2 touchdowns to lead the Las Vegas Sun Devils to victory. Marell scored on runs of 34 & 52 yards while Larry scored on an 18-yard fumble return and a sizzling 90yard run. Davian Hammond also scored for the Devils on a 10-yard run. The Mustangs scored on a beautiful 55 & 61-yard TD passes to Josh Feuer from QB Zane Hernandez. The Devils rushed for 227 yards behind great blocking by their offensive line. Marell Finks rushed for 102 yards and Quinten Larry rushed for 97 yards. Marell Finks also had an interception on defense. The Mustangs rushed for 47 yards with Josh Feuer gaining 27 yards. May 13th, 2017 The #2 Seed Bishop Gorman Gators defeated the #7 Seed 702 49ers 48-13 at Liberty High School Masiah Pagota had a huge game scoring 5 touchdowns and rushing for 222 yards to power the Bishop Gorman Gators to a 1st round playoff victory. Pagota scored on monstrous runs covering 8, 55, 62, 99, and 38 yards. Cam’ron Barfield also scored for the Gators on 35 & 60 yard romps. The 49ers scored on a beautiful 69-yard kickoff return by Bryan Massengale and 1 yard run by Dzjon Hal. The Gators pounded the rock for an amazing 397 yards rushing behind fabulous blocking by their offensive line. Along with Pagota’s 222 yards, Cam’ron Barfield rushed for 161 yards. On defense Masiah Pagota and Jaden Turner recovered fumbles for the Gators. The 49ers were led by QB Dzjon Hal with 122 yards passing and receiver Jacob Santiago caught 5 passes for 109 yards. Noah Childress recovered a fumble for the 49ers defense. The Bishop Gorman Gators will try and chomp out a semifinal victory next weekend when they battle the Las Vegas Seahawks in what looks to be an epic battle at Western High School. The #4 Seed Henderson Cowboys defeated the #5 Seed Del Sol Wolverines 35-0 at Del Sol High School Isaiah Hampton scored 1 touchdown and passed for 3 more to power the Henderson Cowboys to a 1st round playoff win. Hampton scored on a pretty 30-yard run and passed 15 & 65 yards to Brody Clark, and 35 yards to Liam Fitzpatrick for touchdowns. Levi Fulton also scored for the Cowboys on an 8-yard run. The Cowboys rushed for just 69 yards with Levi Fulton and Isaiah Hampton combining for 69 yards. Isaiah Hampton had a great game completing 12 of 14 passes for 245 yards. Levi Fulton and Brody Clark each had 4 receptions. The Cowboys defense was fantastic allowing 5 total yards. Isaiah Hampton and Jayven Perez recovered fumbles and Brody Clark had an interception for the Cowboys. The Wolverines played very hard and gave a great effort, but the talented Cowboys were tough to stop. The Henderson Cowboys will look to ride to victory again next weekend when they take on the Las Vegas Cowboys in an old west style showdown at the Valley High School corral. The #3 Seed Las Vegas Seahawks defeated the #6 Seed Mojave Green Machine 31-0 at Mojave High School Aginea Cunningham had a fabulous game scoring 3 touchdowns to lead the Las Vegas Seahawks to a great 1st round playoff victory. Cunningham scored on 10 & 26 yard runs, as well as a blazing 70-yard romp. Montrell Smith scored on a 28-yard run and Chaneil Pruitt scored on a 28-yard scamper for the Seahawks. The Seahawks rushed for 195 yards with Aginea Cunningham gaining 111 yards. He also had 40 yards receiving. The Seahawks defense played great allowing 86 total yards. Demetrius Boykin and Montrell Smith had interceptions for the defense. The Green Machine were led by Omarion ( BABY I) Ireland with 79 yards rushing and Anthon y Ford recovered a fumble. The Las Vegas Seahawks will look to soar in a playoff rematch vs. the Bishop Gorman Gators next Saturday at Western High School in what promises to be an exciting matchup. The #8 Seed Las Vegas Cowboys defeated the #1 Seed Las Vegas Aces 19-12 at Mojave High School Ormay’jay Campbell scored the would-be game winning extra point to give the Cowboys a stupendous 1st round playoff victory. The Cowboys scored in the 1st quarter on a great 47-yard TD pass to Kenneth Marts from QB Kevin Stuart for a 6-0 lead. In the 2nd quarter the Cowboys increased their lead to 13-0 on a 1 yard run by Michael Floyde, and a key 1 point conversion by Ormay’jay Campbell. The Aces got a good hand and scored on a 17-yard TD pass to Jeramiah Nichols from QB Cody Powell, and the Cowboys led 13-6. In the 3rd quarter the Aces scored on an electrifying 75-yard TD pass to Nichols from Powell. The Aces failed to convert the game tying 1 point conversion and the Cowboys led 13-12. The Cowboys answered back with a 1 yard run by Daniel Thompson and the Cowboys now led 19-12. In the 4th quarter the Aces drove down the field and Cody Powell hit Steven Garcia on a 56-yard pass play to the Cowboys 5-yard line, but Ormay’jay Campbell made a monstrous hit and caused a fumble that was recovered by the Cowboys to end the Aces chances. The Cowboys rushed for 137 yard with Isaiah Esters gaining 73 yards. QB Kevin Stuart passed for 66 yards and on defense Ormay’jay Campbell recovered a fumble and had an interception. The Aces rushed for 64 yards with Jeramiah Nichols gaining 48 yards. QB Cody Powell passed for 148 yards. On defense, Kupono Babauta and Jacarlos Rodgers recovered fumbles. The Las Vegas Cowboys will look to keep their Cinderella playoff run alive when they take on the Henderson Cowboys next weekend with a spot in the Nevada State Championship Game going to the victor. The Henderson Bearcats defeated the Arbor View Aggies 27-8 at Valley High School Tyler Robbins scored 3 touchdowns to lead the Henderson Bearcats to a great Bowl Game win. Robbins scored on runs covering 36, 47, and 12 yards. Chris Federico also scored on a 10-yard TD pass from QB Caden Hill. The Aggies scored on a pretty 47-yard run by Giovanny Tiscareno. The Bearcats pounded the rock for 391 yards behind a tremendous performance by their offensive line. Tyler Robbins rushed for 217 yards, Caden Hill rushed for 91 yards, and Michael Green added 82 yards rushing. The Bearcats continue to improve, and this performance left Coach Roy Mendez dancing on the sidelines. Brandon Tunnell had an interception for the Bearcats defense. The Aggies rushed for 154 yards with Giovanny Tiscareno gaining 94 yards and Jaquieze Holland adding 40 yards rushing. The Shadow Ridge Mustangs defeated the Desert Oasis Jr. Diamondbacks 37-18 at Basic High School The Shadow Ridge Mustangs earned a big win in an offense outburst over the Jr. Diamondbacks this weekend at Basic High School. Scoring for the Mustangs were Zane Hernandez on 40 & 2 yard runs, Josh Feuer on 80, 50, and 90 yard runs, and Christopher Livingston on a 32 yard romp. The Diamondbacks got scores from Anthony Penesa on 15 and 10 yard runs as well as Derrick Pritchard on a 60 yard run. Both teams played hard and it showed with a number of big plays on both sides of the ball. May 6th, 2017 The Del Sol Wolverines defeated the Desert Oasis Jr. Diamondbacks 35-0 via FFT at Del Sol High School The Las Vegas Sun Devils defeated the Henderson Bearcats 25-6 at Valley High School Marell Finks scored 2 touchdowns to lead the Las Vegas Sun Devils to victory as they heated things up on the Bearcats defense in this matchup. Finks scored on flashy runs covering 43 & 71 yards. Davian Hammond scored on a nifty 45-yard run and Quinten Larry scored on a pretty 50-yard run for the Devils. The Bearcats lone score was on a 4-yard run by Tyler Robbins. The Sun Devils rushed for 218 yards with great blocking by their offensive line. Marell Finks rushed for 112 yards and Davian Hammond and Quinten Larry combined for 108 yards rushing. The Devils defense played well getting 5 sacks, 3 by Marell Finks. The Bearcats rushed for 107 yards with Michael Green and Tyler Robbins combining for 104 yards. Brandon Tunnell recovered fumble for the Bearcats defense. While both teams missed out on the playoffs, they will each look forward to exciting Bowl Game matchups in the future. The Las Vegas Seahawks defeated the Las Vegas Cowboys 41-6 at Western High School MVP candidate Aginea Cunningham had a huge game scoring 4 touchdowns and rushing for 179 yards to power the Las Vegas Seahawks to victory. Cunningham scored on runs covering 72, 25, 19, and 39 yards. Also scoring for the Seahawks were Montrell Smith on a 28-yard run and Francisco Navarrete on a 25-yard run. The Cowboys scored on a 2-yard run by Daniel Thompson. The Seahawks pounded the rock for 283 yards with exceptional blocking by their offensive line. With today’s 179 yards rushing, Aginea Cunningham now has 840 yards and 20 touchdowns for the season. The Seahawks defense played excellent allowing 68 total yards and Cunningham had a fumble recovery. The Cowboys were led by Daniel Thompson and Isaiah Esters with a combined 42 yards rushing. The Seahawks fall into the #3 slot in the playoffs with the big victory, and will take on the Mojave Green Machine in what should be an exciting first round playoff showdown next weekend. The Las Vegas Aces defeated the Bishop Gorman Gators 14-12 at Ed Fountain Park #8 Jeramiah Nichols scored 2 touchdowns and the Aces defense caused a game winning 2-point safety to lead the Las Vegas Aces to a fabulous win. After a scoreless 1st quarter, the Gators scored on a 21-yard TD pass to Jaden Turner from QB Jerimiah Hughes for a 6-0 lead. The Aces scored in the 2nd quarter on a sweet 50-yard TD pass to Jeramiah Nichols from QB Cody Powell and a 6-6 tie score. Just before halftime the Aces scored on a stunning 88-yard monster run by Jeramiah Nichols for a 12-6 lead. In the 3rd quarter the Aces defense scored a 2-point safety for a 14-6 lead. In the 4th quarter the Gators came back scoring on a 2-yard run by Jeremiah Hughes and the Aces led 14-12. However after recovering an onside kick attempt and with little time left the Aces ran out the clock for a 14-12 victory. The Aces rushed for 163 yards with Jeramiah Nichols gaining 126 yards. QB Cody Powell passed for 52 yards. Nichols had a fine season rushing for 658 yards and 16 touchdowns. The Gators rushed for 102 yards with Masiah Pagota gaining 97 yards. QB Jeremiah Hughes passed for 93 yards. Camden Miller recovered a fumble for the Gators defense. Jeremiah Hughes had another solid season passing for 544 yards and 10 touchdowns. The Aces earned the #1 seed in the playoffs and will take on the Las Vegas Cowboys next weekend in their first round playoff matchup. The Gators meanwhile fall to the #2 slot and will take on the 702 49ers in their first round playoff showdown next weekend as well. The Arbor View Aggies defeated the Shadow Ridge Mustangs 41-6 at Ed Fountain Park #8 Giovanny Tiscareno scored 3 touchdowns to lead the Arbor View Aggies to victory as they raced to victory in a rivalry battle over the Shadow Ridge Mustangs. Tiscareno scored on a brilliant 80-yard kickoff return, and 18 & 55 yard runs. Also, scoring for the Aggies were, Bryan Sulanke on a 3-yard run, Bryce Ericson on a 10-yard run, and Jaquieze Holland on an 8-yard run. The Mustangs lone score was on a 15-yard run by Zane Hernandez. The Aggies rushed for 235 yard with Giovanny Tiscareno gaining 105 yards and Jaquieze Holland adding 89 yards rushing. The Aggies defense played great allowing 74 total yards. Bryan Sulanke recovered a fumble for the Aggie defense. The Mustangs were led by Devin Garnes with 37 yards rushing. The Aggies missed out on the playoffs, but will take on the Henderson Bearcats in a Bowl Game matchup next weekend. The Henderson Cowboys defeated the Mojave Green Machine at Ed Fountain Park #6 on Monday, May 8th Levi Fulton finished the regular season in true Cowboy form, scoring 3 touchdowns and rushing for 206 yards to power the Henderson Cowboys to victory. Fulton scored on 1, 5, and 10 yard runs. Isaiah Hampton also scored for the Cowboys on a shifty 27-yard run. The Green Machine scored on a 22-yard run by Andrew Juarez. The Cowboys rushed for 279 yards as their offensive line did a solid job of blocking. Levi Fulton rushed for 206 yards and 1084 yards for the season, along with 17 touchdowns. Isaiah Hampton added 73 yards rushing and 480 yards for the season. The Cowboys defense was solid with Jayven Perez getting an interception and Liam Fitzpatrick recovering a fumble. The Green Machine playing shorthanded rushed for 135 yards with Omarion (BABY I) Ireland gaining 60 yards. The Cowboys earned the #4 seed with the victory and will battle it out in the quarterfinals next weekend when they take on the Del Sol Wolverines. April 29th, 2017 The Las Vegas Cowboys defeated the Del Sol Wolverines 19-6 at Del Sol High School Ormay’jay Campbell scored 1 touchdown and recovered 2 fumbles to lead the Las Vegas Cowboys to a solid victory. After a scoreless 1st quarter the Cowboys scored in the 2nd quarter on a 20-yard TD pass to Campbell from QB Joshua Rudisill for a 6-0 lead. The Wolverines tied the score 6-6 in the 2nd quarter on a sizzling 70-yard run by Mavelon Murray. In the 3rd quarter the Cowboys took the lead 12-6 on a pretty 30-yard punt return by Kenneth Marts. In the 4th quarter the Cowboys put the icing on the cake with a 30-yard touchdown run by Isaiah Esters, and an 18-6 final score. The Cowboys rushed for 84 yards with Daniel Thompson and Isaiah Esters combining for 73 yards. The Cowboys defense played well getting 3 sacks as a team. The Cowboys also got an interception by Kevin Stuart and 2 fumble recoveries by Ormay’jay Campbell. The Wolverines were led by QB Nicholas Taylor with 37 yards passing. The Cowboys scored in the 1st quarter on a 1 yard sneak by Isaiah Hampton for a 6-0 lead. After a scoreless 2nd quarter, the 49ers scored in the 3rd quarter on a 4-yard run by Dzjon Hal and a 6-6 tie score. The Cowboys answered back with a 10-yard TD pass to Brody Clark from Isaiah Hampton and a 12-6 lead. The Cowboys added some insurance in the 4th quarter on a 3-yard run by Levi Fulton’s 14th touchdown of the year, and a 20-6 final score victory. The Cowboys rushed for 256 yards rushing behind solid blocking by their offensive line. Levi Fulton gave a Clydesdale like work performance, toting the rock 28 times for 192 yards. Fulton now has 887 yards rushing for the season. Isaiah Hampton added 62 yards rushing and 24 yards passing. Brody Clark had an interception for the Cowboys defense. Hill scored on a pick 6 TD, and a sweet 31-yard run to lead the Bearcats charge. Also, scoring for the Bearcats were, Tyler Robbins on a nice 24-yard run, Da’ron Reeves on a 2-yard run, and Michael Green on a 4-yard run. The Bearcats rushed for 162 yards with Tyler Robbins gaining 51 yards, while Michael Green and Da’ron Reeves combining for 75 yards. The Bearcats defense was superb allowing 71 total yards on defense in this matchup. Caden Hill had an interception and Kelloch Smith & Blayke Michael recovered fumbles for a stout Bearcats defense. The Mustangs were led by Jordan Quidachay with 35 yards rushing. The Henderson Bearcats will look to keep this little win streak alive as they take on the Las Vegas Sun Devils back at Valley High School. The Green Machine rushed for 110 yards with Andrew Juarez gaining 75 yards. The QBS Xzavier Rayford and Andrew Juarez combined for 125 yards passing. The Green Machine defense played fantastic allowing 52 total yards. Keoni Aipoalani and Andrew Juarez recovered fumble and Juarez had an interception. The Diamondbacks were led by QB Deakon Lindquist with 33 yards passing. Brysen Vierra recovered a fumble for the defense. The Mojave Green Machine will look to race to another win next week when they take on the Henderson Cowboys in what should be a fantastic 12U matchup. The Bishop Gorman Gators defeated the 702 49ers 33-12 at Ed Fountain Park #8 Jeremiah Hughes passed for 3 touchdowns to lead the Bishop Gorman Gators to a fine win over a tough 702 49ers squad. Hughes passed 50 & 30 yards to Jaden Turner for touchdowns and 18 yards to Masiah Pagota for a score. Pagota, who also had a fabulous game, scored on a 13-yard run and a 90-yard pick 6 TD. The 49ers scored on a 29-yard TD pass to Bryan Massengale and a beautiful 65-yard TD pass to Erik Hurley, both from QB Dzjon Hal. The Gators offense rushed for 107 yards with Masiah Pagota gaining 58 yards. Jeremiah Hughes passed for 105 yards. For the Gators defense, Manaiatelelavatamasamoa Novera recovered a fumble and Masiah Pagota and Elijah Wilson had interceptions. The 49ers were led by QB Dzjon Hal with 125 yards passing and Kayden Vida recovered a fumble for the 49ers defense. The Las Vegas Aces defeated the Mojave Green Machine 27-12 at Mojave High School Jayden Tolliver scored 2 touchdowns to lead the Las Vegas Aces to a great win. After a scoreless 1st quarter, the Aces scored in the 2nd quarter on a 6-yard run by Jacarlos Rodgers for a 7-0 lead. The Green Machine answered back on a fantastic 50-yard kickoff return by Andrew Juarez, cutting the Aces lead to 7-6. Still in the 2nd quarter the Aces scored on a 23-yard run by Jeramiah Nichols and led 14-6. The Green Machine scored just before halftime on a short run by Ziaire Ham and trailed 14-12. The 2nd half was all Aces as they scored on a 5 & 10 yard runs by Jayden Tolliver and their defense shut down the Green Machine offense for a 27-12 final score. The Aces rambled for 203 yards rushing with Jeramiah Nichols rushing for 96 yards, and JaCarlos Rodgers adding 60 yards. The Green Machine was led by Andrew Juarez with 45 yards rushing, and Xavier Rayford had an interception. March 25TH, 2017 The Bishop Gorman Gators defeated the Henderson Cowboys 26-0 at Liberty High School Masiah Pagota had a great game scoring 3 touchdowns and rushing for 129 yards to lead the Bishop Gorman Gators to victory over the defending champion Henderson Cowboys at Liberty High School. Pagota scored on 10 & 20 yard runs, and a beautiful 55-yard scamper. The Gators offense rushed for 199 yards as their offensive line did a great job. Besides Pagodas’ 129 yards, Jeremiah Hughes added 51 yards rushing and 145 yards passing for the Gators. The Cowboys offense rushed for 158 yards with Isaiah Hampton gaining 82 yards and Levi Fulton adding 69 yards rushing. Fulton also recovered a fumble on defense. In the end however, the Gators tough defense did it all this weekend shutting out the Henderson Cowboys. The Gators will look to stay hot next weekend when they try and steal the 702 49ers gold at Ed Fountain Park. The Las Vegas Seahawks defeated the Las Vegas Sun Devils 35-0 at Western High School Montrell Smith scored 3 touchdowns to lead the Las Vegas Seahawks to victory in their opening game of the season over the Las Vegas Sun Devils. Smith scored on runs covering 28, 44, and 3 yards. Aginea Cunningham also scored for the Seahawks on a blazing 45-yard run and an electrifying 68-yard TD pass from QB Jacob Sarabria. Demetrius Boykin also scored on a pretty 35-yard run. The Seahawks offense rushed for 201 yards with Montrell Smith gaining 74 yards and Aginea Cunningham added 48 yards rushing. QB Jacob Sarabria passed for 103 yards. The Seahawks defense was fantastic allowing just 6 total yards. George Llaban, Bobby Lee, and Aginea Cunningham (2) recovered fumbles for the Seahawks defense. The Del Sol Wolverines defeated the Shadow Ridge Mustangs 34-6 at Del Sol High School Maveion Murray scored 3 touchdowns to power the Del Sol Wolverines to a fine victory over a hard fighting Shadow Ridge Mustangs team this weekend. Murray scored on runs covering 1, 13, and 15 yards. Marcos Kemp scored on a 1 yard blast and Vincent Lopez scored on a 3-yard TD pass from QB Jose Hernandez. The Mustangs scored on a thrilling 49-yard run by Devin Garnes for their only points in the game. The Wolverines offense piled up 188 yards rushing in a fine performance by their offensive line. Marcos Kemp rushed for 89 yards and Maveion Murray gained 75 yards rushing. For the Wolverines defense, Ikaiah Lanoza had an interception. The Las Vegas Aces defeated the Henderson Bearcats 6-0 at Valley High School Jayden Tolliver scored the game winning touchdown to lead the Las Vegas Aces to a huge victory in a defensive battle over the Henderson Bearcats. For 3 quarters these two teams battled to a scoreless tie. In the 4th quarter the Aces closed the door on the Bearcats with a 6-yard touchdown run by Jaden Tolliver for a 6-0 lead. With little time remaining the Aces defense shut down the Bearcats to preserve the victory. The Aces offense rushed for 108 yards against a very stingy Bearcats defense. Jeremiah Nichols led the Aces with 62 yards rushing. The Aces defense played great limiting the Bearcats to 91 total yards. The Bearcats rushed for 87 yards with Caden Hill gaining 61 yards rushing. The Las Vegas Cowboys defeated the Arbor View Aggies 22-6 at Western High School Kevin Stuart scored 1 touchdown and passed for another to lead the Las Vegas Cowboys to a great win over a North Las Vegas rival in the Arbor View Aggies. The Cowboys scored in the 1st quarter on a blazing run by Kevin Stuart, and with a 1 point conversion run by Isaiah Esters, the Cowboys led 7-0. In the 2nd quarter the Cowboys defense got a safety caused by Damarion Holloway for a 9-0 lead. Later in the quarter the Cowboys scored on a 9-yard TD pass to Kenneth Marts from Stuart for a 15-0 lead. Just before halftime the Aggies got on the board with a stunning 88-yard kickoff return by Giovanny Tiscareno, and the Cowboys led 15-6. After a scoreless 3rd quarter the Cowboys put the game on ice in the 4th quarter with a 25-yard TD run by Nazir Abram and a 22-6 final score. Hernandez scored on a 2-yard run and a 15-yard pick 6 TD, and Kemp scored on 40 & 45 yard romps. The Bearcats scored on a 34-yard run by Caden Hill, a 41-yard TD pass to Brandon Tunnell from Brother Bryson Tunnell, and a 38-yard TD pass to Bryson Tunnell from Brandon Tunnell. The Wolverines offense rushed for 130 yards with Marcos Kemp gaining 65 yards. QB Jose Hernandez passed for 39 yards. The Wolverines defense played well with Elijah Edquilang and Vincent Lopez recovering fumbles, and Ikaiah Lanoza and Jose Hernandez had interceptions.
