Theodore Judah Parent‐Teacher Association November 28, 2014 Revenue and Expense Report Fund Raising: Jog‐A‐Thon: The Jog‐A‐Thon raised a total of $27,805.75. Only $10,901 is shown on the financial statement below, but a check from 99 Pledges for $16,404.75 is in route and will be deposited when it is received. An additional $500 already received will be deposited this weekend. Santa’s East Sac Adventure: Raised approximately $5,700. Only $3,315 is shown on the financial statement below, but approximately $2,400 from this event will be deposited this weekend. Financial Operations: There was a net loss of $2,962 in November 2014. This is due to a lack of fundraising in November, but the actual year‐to‐date net income is $6,914, excluding the pending $16,404.75 from the Jog‐A‐Thon and $2,000 from Santa’s East Sac Adventure. Taxes: All taxes from 2012, 2013, and 2014 have been filed with the IRS and California Franchise Tax Board. There could possibly be thousands of dollars in fines for failing to file the taxes for prior years, but the California State PTA has stated that it can often get the fines abated completely. More updates will follow as the situation progresses.
