Absolute Location: The exact location of a place
Relative Location: the position of a place in relation to what is around it
Human Environment Interaction: how humans use the environment or earth’s resources Could be
positive or negative
Latitude: measures north and south
Longitude: measures east and west
Primary Source: An original document from the time period Example – Journal Entry
Secondary Source: A document written using a primary source, not original. Example – Textbook
B.C/B.C. E: Before common era, counts down to year 0
A.D/C. E: Common Era, counts up from year 0
