POST OFFICE
POST OFFICE (POSTAGE RATES) ORDER
(SECTION 4)
[Commencement 1st January, 1974]
1. This Order may be cited as the Post Office (Postage
Rates) Order.
2. There shall be charged and paid upon the
categories of postal packets specified in Parts I and II of
the First Schedule to this Order, not being parcels provided
for as mentioned in paragraphs 3 and 4 of this Order, the
rates respectively so specified and the Notes annexed to the
said Schedule shall have effect for the purpose of
amplifying or, as the case may be, explaining the
provisions of that Schedule.
3. There shall be charged and paid upon parcels
posted in accordance with the provisions of the Post Office
Rules for transmission by air mail and surface mail to
destinations within The Bahamas the rates specified in
Parts I and II, respectively, of the Second Schedule to this
Order.
4. There shall be charged and paid upon parcels
posted in accordance with the provisions of the Post Office
Rules for air mail and surface mail transmission to
countries specified in the first column of the Third
Schedule, the rates specified in that Schedule in relation to
such countries.
5. There shall be charged and paid for the postal
services specified in the first column of the Fourth
Schedule to this Order the charges shown in that Schedule
in relation to such services.
