A Level Results 2016
For the fourth time in five years, King Edward VI School has obtained record A Level
grades, with students achieving the best results in Warwickshire (including both state
and independent schools). 86% of papers were graded A*- B with no fewer than fiftyfour students obtaining three A grades or better, including ten students who will be
taking up their places at Oxbridge colleges. The stand-out performances were
achieved by Guy Hughes (4 A* grades and 1 A grades) and Ben Dennes, John
Lusty, Andrew Markham and Zach Price (4 A* grades).
Bennet Carr, Headmaster, said “These are truly outstanding results and I am
particularly delighted for this year group. They really are a most impressive
group of young people who deserve our congratulations for their hard work
and commitment. I have no doubt that they would also be the first to recognise
that they could not have achieved such success without the dedication of their
teachers or the support of their families, so I think we can all be rightly proud
of their wonderful achievements”.
