24th - 25th April 2017, Olsztyn – Poland
1 . DENOMINATION:
The Polish Underwater Federation with the agreement of CMAS has the pleasure to invite
you to the 4TH International Finswimming University Competition in Olsztyn from 24th to
25th of April 2017.
2. COMPETITION PLACE:
“AQUASFERA” is an olympic-size swimming pool with a length of 50m, a width of 25m (ten
lanes), a depth of 2m and capcity of 1500 viewers + small 25m pool for warm-up.
3. PARTICIPATION RULES AND RACES:
In this Competition can participate only the University Teams. Every participant must have
the Finswimming CMAS sport license bought by national federation or for the non-holder,
the temporary license generated during the process of final registration on
http://sport.cmasoffice.org. Each team should comply with the Championship Rules, Safety
Requirements set by the Organizers and all other CMAS Rules and Regulations.
Athletes:
a) Students who are currently officially registered as proceeding towards a degree or
diploma at a university or similar institute whose status is recognized by the appropriate
national academic authority of their country;
b) Former students of the institutions mentioned in a) who have obtained their academic
degree or diploma in the year preceding the event;
All competitors must satisfy the following conditions:
a) Be a national of the country they represent (nationality);
b) Be at least 17 and less than 28 years of age on January 1st in the year of the event.
Individual dossier to submit on arrival. The dossier must include:
If a student:
a) The document proving that s/he has satisfied the conditions normally required in his/her
country for entrance to a university or similar institute;
b) Student card or certificate from the appropriate national academic authority certifying
that the competitor is currently officially registered as proceeding towards a degree or
diploma at a university or similar institute whose status is recognized by the appropriate
national academic authority of their country.
If a former student:
Proof of the date s/he obtained his/her final academic degree or diploma.
Swimming pool events: Each University Team should enter not more than two (2)
competitors to each individual event and not more than one team to each relay.
NOTICE: University team = team of the particular school. According the new rules,
it will be only classification by University and no national countries classification.
Swimming-pool races:
Apnea: 50m
Surface: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m,
Bifins: 50m, 100m, 200m
Relay: 4x100m surface, 4x50m bifins.

Athletes accept these rules as a condition of participation.
5.
CLASSIFICATION
AND
AWARD
According to CMAS Rules and Regulations. Individual prizes: medals will be given to the first
three
classified
athletes
in
every
individual
race
and
every
relay.
Because, 2017 will be the 1st year with this new type of classification, we precise :
1. Countries Ranking:
 The Countries Ranking will be made by the total amount of the points (same
CMAS table as World Cup Swimming pool) of the best two results by
nationality on each individual distance, at each category (men, woman).
2. For the relays:
 Classification by university teams, podium and medals to the three best team
for each relay event;
 If the number of athletes by university is less than four for one relay event,
it's possible to mix the team between universities but in the case, the team
can't go to podium and receive awards whatever the classification of the
team.
6. INTERNATIONAL JURY
CMAS Technical delegate: according to CMAS Rules.
7. PROTEST
According to CMAS Rules.
8. RESPONSIBILITY
The Polish Underwater Federation PZPn, CMAS, the Competition Director, Competition
Officers and the Chief Judge are not responsible for accidents or damage caused to people
and personal effects before, during or after the competition.
9. ACCOMMODATION
Organizers offer accommodation possibility during the competition with enrolment deadline
09th of April 2017 ( Enclosure 2_Booking Form):

(from Sunday 23th April 2017 – dinner, until Tuesday 25th April 2017 – lunch)
140 €/person (rooms with 1-2-3 beds)
2. Extra day 50 €/person
3. Single room extra price is 25 €/person/day.
4. Those athletes who do not accept one of the accommodations offered by the
Organizing Committee - but arrange their accommodation by themselves are
supposed to pay 40€ / person as organizing fee.

Price include arrival and departure and all transfers hotel – swimming pool – hotel.
IF you do not use our airport transfer, but you need local transportation hotel –
swimming pool – hotel please contact us for details. The organizers do not provide the
transportation for all participants.

1. The booking deadline will be on 9th of April 2017.
After this period fee will be increased by 10%.
