“Water and Wildlife” Poster Contest
Thank you for expressing interest in the Saskatchewan Association of Watersheds Annual Poster Contest! The Lower
Souris River Watershed in which you live is one of 11 provincial watershed associations participating in this year’s contest. The Lower Souris Watershed Committee (LSWC) will be providing prizes for the top 3 local winners within our
watershed. The 1st place winner’s poster within our watershed will then be judged at the provincial level against the
top posters from the other 10 watersheds for the chance to win the provincial grand prize – a $1000 Cabela’s gift
card!
Possible topics for your poster:
 How does wildlife interact with our water?
 How does the health of the water in our environment affect wildlife?
 What types of wildlife live in our watershed?
 Why is water important for wildlife?
 What lives in and around our surface water?
Be creative!
