CIVIL WAR TOURS, LLC’S TERMS & CONDITIONS [Please read and sign below]
What Is Included: Expert battlefield guide(s); tour manager; lunches; motor coach transportation; admissions; bus driver gratuity; color map book; soda
and bottled water on coach.
What Is Not Included Transportation to tour base/hotel; hotel accommodations; trip cancellation/interruption and baggage insurance; personal items
such as wines, liquors, a la carte orders, room service, valet/laundry charges; and meals not specifically mentioned as included. Note: All tours are designed for adults. Some may be suitable for older children. Regardless of age, children must pay full price unless otherwise noted, and a parent or guardian must accompany those under 18.
Payment Schedule 2-day Tours: Full payment is required to make a reservation for a 2-day tour. 3-day Tours: A $250 per person deposit is required to
make a reservation on a 3-day tour. Balance of $300 per person for a 3-day tour is due 60 days prior to departure.
Cancellation and Refunds For all tours, written cancellation is required to process a refund. Cancellations: Cancellations received 60 days or more before the start of the trip will be charged a $25 per person cancellation fee. Cancellations received 60-29 days prior to departure: forfeiture of $100 if a
replacement is not found. If a replacement is found, you will only be charged a $25 per person cancellation fee. Cancellations received 30 days or less
prior to departure will forfeit full payment, unless a replacement is found. If a replacement is found, you will be charged a $25 per person cancellation fee.
No refunds for unused portions of the tour including but not limited to, missed meals, and sightseeing. Cancellation of program by Civil War Tours, LLC:
full refund. Civil War Tours, LLC reserves the right to decline any person as a participant on a tour, or to require any participant to withdraw from the tour
at any time, when such action is determined by tour staff to be in the best interests of the health, safety or general welfare of the tour group or the individual participant. In such a case, a refund equal to the actual cost of the unused services is the limit of Civil War Tours, LLC's responsibility. NOTE: Civil
War Tours, LLC is not responsible for any costs incurred due to travel delays, flight cancellations, or sickness. Civil War Tours, LLC is not responsible for
penalties incurred from the purchase of nonrefundable airline tickets. Should events beyond the control of Civil War Tours, LLC necessitate the cancellation of the program during the tour, a full refund of land costs will be calculated based on the cost of services used up to the time of the group’s return.
Itinerary or Program Modifications While every effort will be made to carry out the program as planned, the program as described is subject to modification and change by Civil War Tours, LLC. Please be aware that trip arrangements are often made up to a year in advance, and unforeseen conditions
might arise that make changes necessary.
A Note About Cost Tour costs are based upon current fuel prices, tariffs at time of pricing and on the basis of a minimum number of participants. While
we do everything possible to maintain the listed prices, they are subject to change. If we find it necessary to levy a surcharge, notification will be given at
the time of invoicing. In any case, the usual cancellation penalties apply as outlined above.
RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENT AND LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
CIVIL WAR TOURS, LLC acts only as an agent for the respective suppliers by making arrangements for transportation, accommodations, other services, and
facilities. CIVIL WAR TOURS, LLC’s responsibility is limited to that of an agent. CIVIL WAR TOURS, LLC shall not be held liable for personal injury, death,
property damage or accident, delay or irregularity arising out of the act, negligence, or omission of any direct carrier, hotel or travel service or other person rendering any of the services being offered in connection with the tours. CIVIL WAR TOURS, LLC reserves the right, without penalty, to make changes
in the published itinerary whenever in their judgment, conditions warrant, or if they deem it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of tour participants. CIVIL WAR TOURS, LLC also reserves the right to withdraw the tour announced, decline to accept any person as a participant on a tour, or to
require any participant to withdraw from the tour at any time, when such action is determined by tour staff to be in the best interests of the health, safety
or general welfare of the tour group or the individual participant. In such a case, a refund equal to the actual cost of the unused services is the limit of Civil
War Tours, LLC’s responsibility. CIVIL WAR TOURS, LLC accepts no liability for the purchase of non-refundable airline tickets to the tour departure city and
return. Baggage and personal effects are at all times the sole responsibility of the participant. Dates, schedules, program details, and costs, although provided in good faith based on information available at the time of publication of the brochure, are subject to change and revision.
AS A CONDITION OF ACCEPTANCE OF ANY APPLICATION, EACH APPLICANT MUST AGREE TO THE STATEMENT BELOW
The undersigned has read carefully the Responsibility Statement and Liability Disclaimer set forth above, the schedule of activities for this tour, as well as
the terms and conditions of application and participation as set forth in the tour brochure, and recognizes and accepts any risk associated with the tour
and the conditions, including the refund policy, set forth in the tour brochure. The undersigned further acknowledges that there are many risks and uncertainties inherent in any travel tour, including but not limited to the hazards of various modes of transportation, forces of nature, acts or omissions of
foreign governments, terrorism, war or insurrection, theft, illness, and damage to person or property due to the negligent acts or omissions of tour staff
or others. In consideration of, and as part payment for, the right to participate in the tour, the undersigned, on behalf of himself, his dependents, heirs,
executors, administrators and assigns, agrees to release CIVIL WAR TOURS, LLC from liability for personal injury, death, property damage or loss suffered
by any person in connection with this tour, even if caused by the negligence (but not the reckless, willful, or fraudulent conduct) of tour staff or other related persons or entities. In addition, by registering for this tour, the applicant certifies that he is mentally and physically capable of full participation in this
tour.
By registering for a tour with CIVIL WAR TOURS, LLC, the participant agrees to the Responsibility Statement and Liability Disclaimer and the
Terms and Conditions herein.
