1st September 2016
We are looking forward to seeing returning and new pupils when the Autumn term begins next week.
Pupils in Years 1 to 5 begin on Monday 5 September and those in Early Years have a more staggered
start to help them settle in. Reception pupils build-up to full days from Thursday 15 September and
Nursery Friday 16th September. Full session for BerryBeebies begin on Monday 19 September.
Don’t forget that an increase in pupil
numbers has led to our restructuring the
school day to allow for a more
staggered start, finish and lunchtime, as

We would like to apologise for not having been
able to provide information about school meals
sooner. This is due to a change of catering
contractors, following a review of the original 3
year contract. After a competitive bidding
process the contract was awarded to
Hertfordshire Catering Limited (HCL) and we are
confident that they will provide an excellent
service, in terms of both quality and value.
As they are a new supplier, the arrangements for
ordering and paying for school lunches have
changed and are as follows:
 Children will be expected to indicate whether
they are having a packed lunch or a school
meal and, for those taking a school meal, to
