An ordinance directing the City Manager to execute the contract of sale to transfer
approximately 102. 2 square feet of right-of-way at 115 Idylwood, owned by Danielle
Witte, in exchange for$ 203. 57, and declaring an effective date.
Whereas
this sale is made pursuant to Section 272. 001( b) of the Texas Local
Government Code whereby a " narrow strip of land, or land that because of its shape, lack
of access to public roads, or small area cannot be used independently under current
applicable subdivision or other development control ordinances;" may be sold; and
Whereas Danielle Witte owns property abutting this section of right-of-way; and
Whereas Texas Local Government Code §
253. 001 requires a municipality to
sell land that the city owns as an abandoned part of a street or alley by adopting an
ordinance directing the Mayor or City Manager to execute the conveyance;
Now therefore, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Victoria, Texas:
The City Council hereby abandons that section right- of-way at 115 Idylwood as depicted

in the attached Exhibit" A" and incorporated herein for all purposes.
The City Council hereby directs the City Manager to execute all documents necessary for

transfer of 102. 2 square feet of right-of-way located at 115 Idylwood to Danielle Witte in exchange for
203. 57.
This ordinance shall take effect upon final approval and adoption by the City Council of
the City of Victoria.
