Polymer concrete –A Magic Word?
All our products are made from polymer concrete, a material with unique
physical and chemical properties. It is much harder and more durable
than cement concrete, waterproof, frost-resistant, corrosion, ageing and
weather resistant.
Polymer concrete is almost 90% from mineral fillers. The binder
connected to a plastic (resin) contains a hard, glassy polymer material
(thermoset resin). After it has hardened it cannot be distorted,
substances can’t be released or taken in. They are thus particularly
environmentally friendly. We act in the belief that there are many, not
previously used applications for polymer concrete products to apply in
the construction sector.
The inspiration for Lumino Stone came from the Hollywood movie Avatar
in the summer of 2010. Self-luminous surfaces that broadcasted in the
night without extra energy needed, magic light, is a challenge for us. In
December 2010 we produced the first products. The used lamps do not
contain phosphorus, are not toxic or even radioactive. All lamps are
tested and have the EN 71-3-approval (Toy Standard).
Lumino STONE
Model for this hemisphere of polymer concrete are glass paperweights in the old
Thuringian glass-making tradition. The objects have a glass surface on which
different colored glass or mica particles and luminescent particles are added.During
the day they load. They glow In the dark, they then give the saved UV light in a light
shade of blue or yellow/green tone.
The balls are 6 inches high, 7.5 cm in diameter and weigh about 500 g. Lumino
Stone is a hand-made product.
Lumino Stone is perfect for when the baby/child sleeps at night. Lumino Stone does
not get hot, does not cause electromagnetic pollution, requires no batteries or
electricity and widespread soft, soothing light. Even during the day it is a very
attractive decorative element. Lumino Stone is available in hemisphere and in the
pyramid shape.
Lumino STAR
In the development of Lumino Star we were guided by the vision of a Palace
courtyard with beautiful Oriental, ornament, ornate floors, due to the stars.
Lumino Star includes 5 different elements that can be used either as a rectangular
area, or as individual pieces. The central element is a segment of a circle of 41 cm
diameter, which is combined with a 61 cm diameter or curved semi-circle with the X
elements. The X-like elements, there is also in a half-and quarter-bricks to complete
to create rectangular faces.
The surface of the element is decorated with stars with luminous particles in large
numbers. The other areas are of polymer concrete. Each individual stone is hand
made.

Lumino Lizard
Our luminous salamander reminded me of the art of MC Escher. To adjust seamlessly and can

Lumino gateway is a system of pavers that any garden and each item can transform into
a romantic monastery. Each stone is equipped with luminous particles and glows in the
dark. The stones are adapted in size on each other, which many placement

Lumino FLOWER of LIFE
