KanaStone is a natural stone composite panel
obtained by slicing natural stone such as marble or
granite and combining it with a lining panel which
we developed.
We have realized “light weight”, “strength” and
“workability” exceeding common ideas of
conventional natural stone.
Further, KanaStone has non-combustible performance
necessary as an interior material, and is a new building
material which is equivalent to F★★★★,
and excellent in water resistance.

KanaStone also has excellent sound insulation properties.
A photo below shows an example that sound level as high as 88 dB was decreased down to 48 dB in karaoke room
by using KanaStone of sound insulating type. If the sound is expressed in ratio, even the other company’s sound
insulation panel reduces sound level to 1/25, however, KanaStone realized reduction of sound level to 1/100.

KanaStone can be used not only in karaoke room but also in various places because it also
has sound insulating property.
Safe for use for interior and exterior walls with
strong bonding strength.
A bonding strength test between KanaStone and concrete building frame according to authorized institute Japanese Industrial
Standard JIS A 5547 shows that bonding strength with building material is three times or more of JIS standard value, therefore,
KanaStone can be used for interior walls and exterior walls. Furthermore, KanaStone has strong bonding strength and light weight,
then can be constructed by construction standard method using bonding adhesives. Artistic design of stone attaching can be
realized without depending on technician specialized in stone material.

1. Properly warm with water after sufficiently cleaning concrete primary surface with wire brushing.
2. Lay bed mortar uniformly while leveling with a scale on the primary surface.
3. Temporarily install on it with some joints and remove once.
4. Apply attaching paste of uniform thickness on the bed mortar, and press KanaStone again and fully attach evenly with
no difference in joints.
5. Ensure joint width of 3mm or more for inside of building and 4mm or more for outside of building. Insert extension
adjustment joints on matching sections between continuous floor surface and other members.
6. For extension adjustment joint, insert foam plastic material down to primary base concrete face and fill sealant to finish.

2. About KanaStone
As surface material is natural stone, there s some variation in color tone and pattern. Use it in consideration of total balance after temporary storage
before construction.
Photos in the catalog and cut samples are slightly different from actual products in color tone and pattern.
Dimensions are approximate. Adjust with joints and primary material.
As the stone material on the surface material has water-absorbing property, contaminant floats on the surface with water, or penetrate inside.
The stone material on the surface material may be broken during transportation because of its nature. Check for damage before construction.
We are not responsible for damage after installation. However, feel free to contact us for possible repair solutions.
3. About order
The specifications may be subject to change or deletion without prior notice, or some products may be out of stock for some reason.
Check the stock with our sales staff before placing an order.
4. To return product
Transportation cost for return shall be paid by shipper (customer). Note in advance that we will accept unopened packages only.
Note in advance that return fee determined by us shall be paid by customer.
Note in advance that we will accept no return of specially ordered products, processed products and some types of products.
5. About processed and specially ordered products
We will accept processing KanaStone as far as possible.
For products of special order possible , specially ordered products can be produced. The price will be estimated at every order.

6. Freight terms
All freight shipped FOB warehouse.
Delivery in truck as a rule.
Products are delivered in consolidated cargo regular route. If delivery time is specified, or delivery to door is expected, products are delivered by
chartered service (separate cost). If you expect chartered service, contact us or distributor.
Products are delivered by pallets depending on quantity and weight.
If manual unloading is necessary, inform us accordingly. Note in advance that manual unloading may require separate cost.

General Information
Precautions when using marble type
As there are some flow patterns depending on stone type, temporarily align before construction.
Note in advance that there are some variations in color tone and grain pattern because the surface material is
natural stone.
Do not use in humid and wet places such as bathroom because gloss of marble maybe decreased or surface
may be deteriorated, change to yellow
When using on floor, sufficiently consider deposition of dirt and decrease in gloss.
Pay much attention to deposition of stain and dirt because marble of surface material has water permeability.
Do not use on exterior wall because marble of surface material may be weathered by rain.
Pay much attention to prevent acid from depositing because marble of surface material is corroded by acid.
Never clean with acid because gloss on the surface is lost even if mortar deposits during construction.
Acid cannot be used on all of marble of surface material. Note that marbles are corroded by alkali except for
some types.
Glaze on marble of surface material is reduced by rain. Immediately wipe water drops when they drop on the
surface.
Because of cutting stone, there are some variations in dimension and thickness. Pay much attention to
construction accuracy of finish surface.
On marble of surface material which has many knots, natural cracks may exist. Pay attention not to give strong
impact on it when constructing.
Precautions when using granite type
As there are some flow patterns depending on stone type, temporarily align before construction.
Note in advance that there are some variations in color tone and grain pattern because the surface material is
natural stone. Note in advance that photos in the catalog are slightly different from delivered products.
When using polished surface on floor, note that the surface is slippery when wet.
Granite of surface material may be cracked in the cut surface when processing.
Note that some types of granites of surface materials may be corroded by acid.
Pay much attention to deposition of stain and dirt because granite of surface material has water permeability.
Sufficiently clean with water after and before pickling.
Granite of surface material is resistant to alkali, however, note that many types of them are discolored after long
exposure to acid.
Because of cutting stone, there are some variations in dimension and thickness. Pay much attention to
construction accuracy of finish surface.
