Lucky's Path
Towards Innovation
and Excellence
It is rightly said that “Changes call for innovation,
and innovation leads to progress.” Our company’s
journey of two decades speaks of transcending
horizons and innovation. We have always focused
on maintaining a competitive-edge in logistics,
technology and market expansion. From being the
first loose-cement exporter to becoming the first
Pakistani cement company investing abroad, Lucky
Cement has outperformed its competition with its
exponential growth.
Following on its legacy of growth and innovation
Lucky Cement Limited has signed a contract with
Siemens Pakistan to start the implementation
process of SAP Enterprise Solution. Lucky Cement
Limited would be one of the first cement companies
in Pakistan to implement SAP on HANA database.
By taking a lead in this technological advancement,
we will not only integrate and streamline our daily
operations but we will also develop a competitive
edge for now and forthcoming years. With SAP
deployment, a one-window operation will be made
available through a workflow design that integrates
all the departments along with their distinct
operations like finance, production, supply chain,
marketing and all other departments. The SAP
system will further support Lucky Cement in
promoting a paperless environment, underpinning
its title of an environmentally conscious company.
Side by side, we have successfully conducted our
first Management Trainee recruitment drive called
‘Future Leaders Program’ 2015, which consisted of a
rigorous screening process and was conducted in
the leading universities of Pakistan.
Such breakthrough achievements make us
extremely proud to be a part of the Lucky Family,
and we hope to set even higher benchmarks of
success in the coming years.

Q1. How has your experience been at Lucky Cement?
ANS> I joined Lucky cement Pezu as D.M (Mechanical) in 2000 at unit# 01.In my time
here, I have seen Lucky Cement grow from strength to strength. In the beginning there
were only lines A & B and we faced a lot of challenging times to maintain & operate the
plant. However, due to dedicated hard work of the staff & management we overcame
all the obstacles. My experience at LCL has been very fruitful. I have learned a lot while
working here and hopefully my experience has helped others too. LCL has developed
& polished my managerial skills. Being a member of the Lucky family has helped me on
a personal scale too. Dedication, hard work & the will to succeed does not go
unrewarded at LCL.
Q2. What has been your secret of success?
ANS> Dedication, hard work & loyalty to your work are the key words. I firmly believe
to give my all to any task at hand. You have to think that any task/job of LCL is not work
but your personal task and assign all your concentration & resources for fulfilling it in
the best way possible. Hard work always pays back. If you don’t do a job properly, you
will ultimately have to redo it again & again.
Q3. How would your colleagues or friends describe you?
ANS> I am very a friendly person. The first thing that colleagues point out is that I am
focused and observant. They also say that I am dedicated to my work and respectful
towards everyone
Q4. Tell me about your hobbies?
ANS> I used to play Badminton regularly when I was young, however, with passage of
time, it has become difficult to make time for all such extracurricular activities. As
more responsibilities fall on you, you get less time for hobbies. Nowadays, I just follow
the current affairs of the country.
Q5. Where do you seen yourself in five years?
ANS> Only Allah knows best where I will be in 5 years time. On my part I still strive to
improve myself and be a better person and fulfill my responsibilities honestly. With the
guidance & help of my seniors, I hope to put in place my vision for optimization of plant
mechanization. Also, I wish to help Lucky Cement in becoming more cost effective &
a more dominant player in the cement market.
