THE SURFACE.
PRE-SLOPED SHOWER TRAY
With a 3-pound density, the molded expanded
polystyrene (EPS) shower tray is exceptionally strong,
offering greater support for the tile covering in shower
applications. Designed with an optimal 2% slope, it’s
also more comfortable to stand on and easily accepts a
wide variety of tile shapes and sizes. Despite its strength,
this lightweight shower tray easily cuts with a knife, is
dust-free and comes in four standard sizes in addition
to custom shapes—a 72" x 72" center drain, a 48" x 48"
center drain, a 32" x 60" center drain and a 32" x 60"

With a 1"-thick perimeter, the pre-sloped shower tray

SHOWER RAMP
Whether it’s enabling wheelchair access or simply
creating easier entry for those who need it, USG Durock™
Brand Shower System ramps help you achieve a clean
and accessible entry for any shower. Each ramp is
12" wide, features a 1" to 1/4" taper and is made from
tough, high-density foam that’s easy to cut and install.
Available in 48" or 60" lengths.
SHOWER CURB
Made from the same 3-pound density molded EPS as
the shower tray, the USG Durock™ Brand Shower System
curb delivers outstanding strength at an aesthetically
pleasing height. At only 5", this curb allows for easier
shower entry and exit, while creating a sleek upgrade
to taller curbs offered by competitors.
SHOWER TRAY DISK
The USG Durock™ Brand Shower System comes with a
durable ABS shower tray disk that features an integrated,
removable subfloor cutout template. This disk provides
solid support under the drain and features clock marks
for alignment to the shower tray, the grate and your
preferred tile layout.

and niches deliver added flexibility, enabling you to
create a more customized, enjoyable shower experience.
BENCHES
Made from durable 3-pound density EPS, USG Durock™
Brand Shower System benches are completely solid and
offer superior strength. And because they’re solid, they
can be cut to virtually any size or shape to accommodate
unique applications or jobsite conditions. These pre-sloped
benches are simple to install and come in a variety of
shapes and sizes, including rectangular (34" x 18" x 22"),
square (18" x 18" x 22"), triangular (18" x 18" x 22") and
quarter round (18" x 18" x 22").
NICHES
Constructed from rugged Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene
(ABS) plastic, these spacious niches are not just ideal
for holding shower products and accessories, they’re
also lightweight and virtually indestructible. Nonwoven
fleece, co-molded with the ABS plastic structure on the
flanges and interior surfaces, provides a superior bond
to thin-set mortar. Niches are available in both square
and rectangular shapes, with opening sizes measuring
13-3/4" x 13-3/4" x 3-5/8" and 13-3/4" x 22" x 3-5/8".

The waterproofing membrane included with the
USG Durock™ Brand Shower System is part of a truly
integrated and fully waterproof system. Not only is
it stronger than many competitors’ membranes, it’s
also significantly thinner. This means it is extremely
tear resistant, minimizes buildup at seams, is more
pliable and is easier to install. It also has an extremely
low permeability rating, making it ideal for wet areas,
including continuous-use steam showers.
ACCESSORIES
Utilizing the same state-of-the-art materials as
the rest of the USG Durock™ Brand Shower System,
several accessories are available to help you create
a truly integrated and fully waterproof system.
These include pipe and mixing valve seals, and
preformed inside and outside corners.

The universal design of the USG Durock™ Brand Shower
System drain assembly simplifies installation and
stands out for a number of reasons:

GRATE ASSEMBLY
The USG Durock™ Shower System grate assembly
provides real adjustability. The grate assembly can be
adjusted vertically to match tile thicknesses ranging from
1/8" to 1" thick, and it delivers up to 25% more horizontal
adjustment when compared to the competition,
ensuring the grate and tile layout fit correctly.

PRO SERIES GRATES
The Pro Series grates utilize an extremely durable, highimpact-resistant, engineering-grade polycarbonate base
structure wrapped in stainless steel. They are equipped
with a Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) finish that is
bonded to the stainless steel at the molecular level and
provides trusted durability and extraordinary scratch
and wear resistance.
DESIGNER SERIES GRATES
From contemporary to classic, the Designer Series
offers a range of stylish choices to fit your unique
shower design. Plus, each grate is cut from a solid
block of stainless steel. The 3/16"-thick stainless steel
is optimized for high strength and corrosion resistance,
and the reflective facets around each opening are
meticulously crafted for the most discriminating high-end
shower installations.
