This is a seriously hilly walk, starting with 175 metres of ascent in the
first 300 m. of the walk. After following the top of the ridge, we drop
steeply down to Wootton under Edge, up to Newark Park, down to
Wortley and Alderley, before undulating on to the Somerset
Monument. Please bring food and drink for the day.
